Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 Business Vs Retail

I've been using the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard (4000?) for years. I've found that I need to see the keys more often and thought the old keyboard quite large. While looking for low-vision keyboards I found this illuminated model. I thought I'd never adapt to or like a flat keyboard like this but I was so wrong. This is the best keyboard I've ever used. Easy strike, silent, and I can see the keys without bright room lighting -- even without my glasses! A full numbers layout, easy extra function keys, great configuration, easy setup, and a sophisticated appearance. Love it. Highly recommended for everyone at all skill levels.

Now that Microsoft is out of the keyboard business, I had to find an alternative ergo keyboard. I tried 4 others prior to this one, and they all had at least one trait I just couldn’t live with. This keyboard, however, I like even more than my last one. The key stroke is crisp and responsive. The layout is comfortable. No complaints. For what it’s worth, I normally don’t write reviews, but I want this keyboard to be successful. If another coffee spill takes out the one I have now, I want to be able to buy a replacement X9 straight away!

No aftermarket keyboard works as well as the Microsoft Pro Type. And, B&H had it in stock when no one else did.

This keyboard works well with Microsoft's x-box console. I also use the M720 mouse at the same time!

Very reliable, really nice, ergonomic mouse and solid keyboard

I use this in my Stylus Pro 4000 to make prints for my photography business and am totally satisfied with the quality. Have tried aftermarket discount ink...once. It's not worth the few dollars saved if you care about how your photos look.

Great drives for business use. Retail packaging reduces chance of drive damage due to improper handling and shipping. Pricing competitive and service excelent.
