Microsoft Ergonomic Keyboard Commands

I've been using the Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard (4000?) for years. I've found that I need to see the keys more often and thought the old keyboard quite large. While looking for low-vision keyboards I found this illuminated model. I thought I'd never adapt to or like a flat keyboard like this but I was so wrong. This is the best keyboard I've ever used. Easy strike, silent, and I can see the keys without bright room lighting -- even without my glasses! A full numbers layout, easy extra function keys, great configuration, easy setup, and a sophisticated appearance. Love it. Highly recommended for everyone at all skill levels.

It is the only compact ergonomic keyboard that seems to be available, that is structurally sound (without bending).

No aftermarket keyboard works as well as the Microsoft Pro Type. And, B&H had it in stock when no one else did.

This keyboard works well with Microsoft's x-box console. I also use the M720 mouse at the same time!

Very reliable, really nice, ergonomic mouse and solid keyboard

We use several USB KVM's and this one is great for two reasons: 1. it comes complete with a full set of cables, and 2. it has keyboard commands that allow switching capability from the keyboard if the KVM itself is not located conveniently in the rack. - I have ordered more of these. Keith Eggel

This is a good keyboard and mouse combo for the price. I like a simple keyboard without too many extra buttons to get in my way when using key commands and this one is great. It has quiet action, but is solid enough to know when you have pressed the key. It is exactly what I wanted. The mouse is a little small for my tastes, but it works well. I am getting used to it and it does not bother me, anymore. However, if you have large hands or want a mouse with more substance, you might want to consider another option. Setup and installation on Windows 10 was painless.

Time is everything. If you are not using keyboard shortcuts in Davinci Resolve, you are doing it wrong and burning time uselessly. This keyboard popped up on my B&H radar just as I began making painfully intricate color-coded reference notecards for the shortcuts in DR. This keyboard is WAAAAY better--the color coding is clear and obvious, and the backlighting, shows the commands on the individual keys clearly. It is also comprehensive, showing commands I haven't even discovered yet. One day, I won't need these clues, but I'm not there yet. Also, when I go a week without editing, I forget things. It is very easy to use and over a couple of weeks my editing speed increased dramatically--WOW! Really. Even glancing over at a notecard is distracting and can easily derail my workflow (is this just me?) The first time I opened Davinci Resolve, I was struck by how intricate and tiny the UI toolbar controls were, and really struggled with a bad mouse and a tiny monitor. Shortcuts are more precise too--they eliminate any analog, floating movement from a touchy mouse I was unsure about the scissor construction of the keys at first, as I usually like the strong feedback of a mechanical gaming keyboard. Conclusion: The key action is fine (and it's quieter). There is a soft tactile pivot point where you confirm input by touch. There are two USB plugs: one for the keyboard itself and one to power the built-in USB ports (2). Laptop owners may consider a USB hub or Thunderbolt Dock

I'm using this keyboard with Nuendo. The shortcuts are a great time saver. It's ergonomic. Highly recommend it.

I used to own a Kensington wireless mouse because I liked how it looked. But it had lousy wireless connectivity and it constantly dropped its signal for no apparent reason. Seeking to replace it, I came across the Microsoft mouse at my neighborhood consumer electronics retailer. I found this same mouse at B&H for $20 less. I love this mouse. It's got a stylish appearance, the wireless signal is rock solid...no more dropped connections and it tracks great. I also like how I can easily power it off to save battery life. The only drawback is that it requires its own USB antenna so when you're using Microsoft's equally stylish wireless keyboard, you're using up 2 USB ports: one for the mouse antenna and one for the keyboard antenna
