I needed a monitor due to the data intensive EXCEL and PowerPoint files I was working with. I have a 16 MacBook Pro and first considered the 27 inch Apple monitor, however the price point was a negative consideration. After reading various user and professional reviews, I opted for this monitor and it is excellent monitor. The coloring and detail is simply fantastic. It is easy to setup and use for Mac users. Your Mac recognizes it immediately upon setting up as a Main Display and selecting the Arrange option which provides the user the option to move any work product or program to display on the Dell. It is height and angle adjustable. It saves my aging eyes when working on spreadsheets and presentations. The building of client deliverables in EXCEL, Word and PowerPoint is much easier on my eyes and I can work longer without eye fatigue. I did not consider this monitor for photography however it does a fantastic job of rendering my photos. Setting it up to use the USB-C power cord eliminates the need for my Apple power block. 5 |

Did you know that you can't even get the computer to work without a Microsoft Login now? Super annoying. 5 |

I've been an Apple user for the past 7 years and had Apple Care on every computer. Because Apple has a few quirks with their computers (faulty disc drives, fragile power cables) it's always well worth it. On one laptop I had to replace the power cable 4 times, and the Apple Care paid for itself with those replacements. If you live near an Apple Store this is a no brainer. 5 |

In my opinion, that's the best option for tablet PC available right now! * Silent - where is the cooler?! * Light and portable - even the complete kit (Surface, cover and the pen) is still incredibly easy to manage and carry in a small backpack or purse. * great quality material - it feels solid. Even the type cover seems solid (I am still getting used to the cover, but I am trying!). * relatively powerful - you get what you pay: it is fast to start Windows, run smooth medium-end software. High-end tools like Visual Studio and database development studios could perform better in a better spec notebook, but it's very easy to succumb to its power-portability rate. * comfortable keyboard - I am still trying to understand how such a small and thin keyboard is so comfortable... * finally a USB-C! - I have a Surface Pro 6 and this Pro 7 is a minor improvement. The battery and processor are slightly better compared to Pro 6, but the only item that I am really happy to upgrade is the new port! Microsoft please pay me to omit this! * The SSD is still slow since the early Surface Pros comparing with the competition... Why Microsoft?! * The battery only survives +5 hours if you decrease the processor power to microwave level. A medium to high workload finishes the battery in less than 2 hours. Tips: * I bought the pen, but I rarely use it. Despite that, the pen is very comfortable, runs smoothly in the glass and is very useful to control presentations. Of course, it's great for drawing. * I suggest the Surface Dock to optimizes your work. Just plug to add 4 USB ports, ethernet gigabit port, display port (even though it is a mini DP...) and audio output to your Surface. All that with embedded power supply, maintaining your power adapter on your backpack. * Buy a Microsoft Display Adapter! It is simply a MUST because wireless video transmission liberates you from wires! 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a Microsoft Surface and love it because of the portability of it. It's my work computer but I take it with me. But it only has 1 USB port and not too many other ports. I got the thunderbolt dock to be able to connect more USB devices and other things to my computer. It has a lot of ports including HDMI ports and others. It also charges my computer while also has a phone charger port. It's not light so I don't think it's great for portability but I am leaving it in my office and it's fantastic. Recommend this to all. 5 |
