Microsoft Research Quantum Computing Hardware

I've never considered networking to be an exciting part of computing, but I have to hand it to Ubiquiti, their switches are easy to set up, and all UniFi hardware is accessible from a single web portal which is pleasant to use. The hardware works well, I have no complaints about it, it's really the software which sets Ubiquiti apart from its competitors.

This store was new to me. I didn't know anything about B&H. I did a little research with some friends and through the internet and it seemed like the best alternative. In fact it came out much better than buying it directly from Microsoft. I got everything in excellent condition, brand new, wonderful service and super fast shipping! I've been using Microsoft Surface laptops for personal and business use for years, and I've got no complaints. I like my hardware and software to be made by the same company so there's less bloatware. I don't use the laptop to game, edit videos, or anything intensive. (Unless you count having multiple tabs of Google Chrome open.) The machine runs smoothly. No complaints there. The angular metal exterior looks and feels great. It says professional without being as boxy as a ThinkPad.

I've been using the Microsoft Laptop since version 1 and it has consistently been an amazing piece of hardware! I was so glad to get the Microsoft Laptop 4 - it has great performace, lightweight, and is fast! Boot is super quick! Highly recommended for work or school.

Through research, I found out this was probably the only part that would work for my set up. I saw BnH's notice as well as customer reviews about the hardware not being included. The reviewer was very thorough about his process in getting ahold of the hardware, and that worked great. I wish I had received the lens support before going and ordering that hardware from Canon, because the support actually included the needed screws and washers! Hopefully this is the case for everyone from now on, but if not, follow the directions that other user gave for contacting Canon, because that worked great. Either way, now I have plenty of backup hardware.

The package was received in a timely manner -- even in this time of COVID madness. I wanted an alternative to more expensive hardware and software for mobile episode recordings of my podcast. I found B&H Photo and Video. After receiving the package, and testing the equipment, it became clear the product, bundled with the Polsen HPC A30 MK2 over the ear headphones, was not going to work as advertised with my Google Pixel 3a phone. After some research, I discovered that I could make this product work with an Android platform but only if I used an earlier version of Android -- namely, Android 8x. Fortunately, I had at least one phone with an older version of Android 8x. This configuration also required the download of a 3rd party audio recording software. In my case, I found ACR at the Google Play Store (upgraded to the Pro version for $4.00 and some coin). So, after much frantic research and testing, I got everything to work, almost as advertised. While needing to perform minor pre-recording tests and tweaks prior to each episode recording, the hardware works beautifully! After talking with tech support regarding this product, and some minor research, it is possible that at some point in the future, the hardware and requisite software will be available for newer versions of Android. Regardless, I am very happy with my purchase.

But I'm moving to more Linux computing eco-system.

This replaced a quantum battery and it seem to last even longer and weigh less. Use on both my Canon and Quantum speedlights. Just have to be careful not to overheat the Canon flash with too many pops in a row. I have a 400 as well this is just a little bigger but 20% more power. They all use the same cables as the Quantum did, plus this one has a USB port. I have been using this one to power a remote flash, while the 400DR is still use for the on-camera flash. As with the 400DR the protective caps seem to be the week point. So, as I'm setting up the protective cap goes back in the bag as I plug in the cable.
