Microsoft Safety Scanner Causes My Laptop To Freeze

My files and videos are safety now.

I have used several types of laptop computers, but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is more than I expected :)

I was skeptical when I read the specs as it looked similar to a mobile printer I had several years ago. I was very happily surprised when I open the box to see that this was nothing like that! What I found was a very well made, solid piece of technology that I had to try right away! My initial testing was on a W10 laptop via USB. The speed was very surprising and it was able to handle multiple pages with ease. Next, I setup the scanner on my home WiFi network and tested from the same W10 laptop - not a change in performance! I then connected my Samsung Note5 over the same WiFi and my mind was starting to blow! Finally, I setup the AP contained within the scanner so I could test directly from the scanner to my devices. As a 30+ year IT professional I was very skeptical, but very happily surprised to see the same type of results over the internal AP. My final test was at work via USB to a Wyse 5030 Zero Client. Again, it worked as advertised - amazing! It's slightly heavier than I expected, but it fit easily into my backpack along with my laptop or mobile zero client (NCS Technologies). The internal battery means you can use the device anywhere so long as you have a change. Very convenient! My opinion is my word, so I don't provide positive review to just any technology. I set up my Daylight light near my painting easel during an Arctic Freeze this week. My dog came over and saw the light shining on the floor and immediately curled up in it. Just like she does in sunlight!!! The bulbs are great to paint with. The purest light! They are a little noisy? I love them.

My Sony 4k player would occasionally freeze or skip. The UB9000 has preformed flawlessly and the build is superb!

My printer/scanner will not function unless I use these.

Freezing up why do they freeze up so easily and so often

I switched from a Microsoft laptop to the Ipad pro. The touch screen is to navigate , very fast operating system. Battery life is amazing, I go days without charging. The camera images are incredible, four speakers sound is good. i would recommend a screen saver and padded case to protect your investment. Great choice

I bought my laptop with B&H and Microsoft Office 365 pop-up with a discount and I didn't hesitate to add it to my cart.

As I become familiar with these, I now own two, I look at a year old uber powerful laptop an see nothing but limitations to the laptop form factor. Microsoft nailed usability with the Surface. If you have not yet experienced 30gb M.2 buss this will open your eyes on what is in store for the future. When my wife turned it on all she could say was, WOW. Yes, there are some limitations. The port is USB-C 10gb not thunderbolt. The screen is not 4K. But I am not editing video on this tiny computer, I do that on a gaming style workstation with monster color corrected monitors. but for the other 90% of the things I do on a computer, including watching Amazon Prime in bed, this is PERFECT.
