Used to interface a serial port multiplexer w/ a new USB only computer. It was plug and play after adjusting baud rate.

For those few times left you need a serial cable, and you don't have a computer built after 1995 (well, an old one, anyway), there's this guy/gal/cable. It works, the drivers installed flawlessly, the cable did its job, and I was able to lie to terminal software and tell it that a USB port was a serial port. YAY!

As my computer was purchased from the @ almost a year ago, I needed to purchase AppleCare and get the installation serial number in under two weeks.
