Microsoft Surface Laptop 4 Vs Macbook Air M2

Apple's MacBook Air M2 is a fast and beautifully built 13 inch laptop. Nothing close to it on the PC side. Purchasing from B&H is always a wonderful experience with their prices, availability, ordering, shipping, and if needed customer service. I make multiple purchases each month.

I was originally in the market to get a M2 or M3 MacBook Air, but I eventually came to the conclusion that I really didn’t need it considering the fact that my 2020 MacBook Pro is still in pristine condition. I then started looking into iPads; I initially thought, “What would I use it for?” But once I got this iPad in hand I can honestly say that I use it more than my laptop; the only time I use my laptop is when I need a second screen or I just feel like using a laptop instead. Don’t listen to the YouTube tech reviewers negative opinions about this iPad; it’s great for the average user. B&H made the purchase process very smooth and easy; my order came in 2 days, well packaged. I’m very satisfied…

I am upgrading from my M1 Macbook air, which I have had for 3 years and absolutely loved. I have my computer docked 95% of the time, so I have an external monitor/ keyboard/ mouse etc... but when I do have to take my laptop somewhere, the air line is the way to go. I only upgraded because my company was paying for a new laptop, so naturally I bumped up to the M2. I bought it on sale 2 days before the M3 air's were annoucnced, but I have no reservations about keeping the M2. The computer is fast, silent, all day battery, sounds good when using the speakers, and is good for everything I throw at it. Unless you are doing heavy/ constant video editing, the M2 Macbook air is a great computer that will do everything you need it to!

I recently purchased the MacBook Air 2022 and I have been extremely satisfied with my purchase. The M2 chip provides lightning fast performance and the high resolution Retina display is stunning. The overall design of the laptop is sleek and lightweight, making it perfect for taking on the go. The battery life is also impressive, lasting me through a full workday with ease. One of my favorite features of the MacBook Air 2022 is the improved keyboard. The new Magic Keyboard is a game changer and typing on it is a joy. The Touch ID fingerprint sensor is also a convenient addition that adds an extra layer of security. In terms of storage, the 256B SSD provides plenty of space for all of my files and documents. The overall build quality of the MacBook Air is top-notch and I have no doubt it will last me for many years to come. Overall, I am extremely happy with my purchase of the MacBook Air 2022 and would highly recommend it to anyone in the market for a new laptop.

Bought the Macbook Air M2 for my girlfriend's birthday and her experience has been wonderful so far. Her having the ability to text from her laptop, having the ability to drag and drop files from her ipad/phone, and making the jump from just using her phone as her main device, has been intuitive and hassle free. The only real complaint I've heard from her is that Sequoia (9/2024) took a hot minute to install on her machine. So if you're someone who simply wants to browse the web, watch videos, and work with simple apps, this is the laptop for you.

This is my very first MacBook Air product line and its with M2 processor by Apple. This laptop has sleek design, light weight and for my daily tasks/activities to work on, it performs very well and handled every task perfectly. As everybody aware, its magnetic for the finger prints but I have laptop cover which helped to protect from the prints and it works well.

I purchased this laptop to replace my 2013 MacBook Air. That 9-year old computer never gave me any problems and we still use it for Zoom communications. Although I've only had the new 2022 M2 for a couple of weeks, I have noticed a couple of big differences. One, it is FAST. One of my computing intense photo software programs takes 25-30 seconds on my 2015 iMac to process takes about 1-second on the new M2. Two, the battery lasts a LOT longer than my previous laptop. Granted, there has been 9-years of battery improvements since 2013, but it is impressive. My last observation -- the MacBook Air I got in 2013 is still in operation. Nine years of daily use and its never been in a computer repair shop. Apple quality is unsurpassed.

The Apple 13.6 MacBook Air laptop absolutely nails everything work. From menial daily routines to demanding tasks like Adobe software, DAW [like Logic Pro], and video editing. Apple Macs, including this one, don't perform well in gaming. M2 sometimes overheats, especially if the game is particularly demanding or not optimized for running on arm chips [M1, M2]. Best money/performance value if you're looking for a typing, surfing, or light editing solution.

The 13.6 Macbook Air M2 is my first Apple laptop and I'm very impressed by the light weight and speed. Runs totally silent with no fan, but overheating or throttling hasn't been a problem. Upgraded from a Surface Pro 6 and the Macbook is far better.

I have used several types of laptop computers, but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is more than I expected :)
