Microsoft Surface Laptop 5 Protective Case

I have used several types of laptop computers, but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is more than I expected :)

Pairs with the Microsoft Surface Go I got as a gift for my spouse. She's quite happy with it.

Compared to a authentic grip this is 95% of it. The 5% is a litle bit different consistency of the surface when touching, the subselector feels different a litle bit less solid and a 1% of the difference is in perception of the quality of the plastic. After two days I did not notice any of this an I am a happy camper. The functions as far as I see all there and the the same. Un less you are a Nikon snob, this is a good buy.

In my opinion, that's the best option for tablet PC available right now! * Silent - where is the cooler?! * Light and portable - even the complete kit (Surface, cover and the pen) is still incredibly easy to manage and carry in a small backpack or purse. * great quality material - it feels solid. Even the type cover seems solid (I am still getting used to the cover, but I am trying!). * relatively powerful - you get what you pay: it is fast to start Windows, run smooth medium-end software. High-end tools like Visual Studio and database development studios could perform better in a better spec notebook, but it's very easy to succumb to its power-portability rate. * comfortable keyboard - I am still trying to understand how such a small and thin keyboard is so comfortable... * finally a USB-C! - I have a Surface Pro 6 and this Pro 7 is a minor improvement. The battery and processor are slightly better compared to Pro 6, but the only item that I am really happy to upgrade is the new port! Microsoft please pay me to omit this! * The SSD is still slow since the early Surface Pros comparing with the competition... Why Microsoft?! * The battery only survives +5 hours if you decrease the processor power to microwave level. A medium to high workload finishes the battery in less than 2 hours. Tips: * I bought the pen, but I rarely use it. Despite that, the pen is very comfortable, runs smoothly in the glass and is very useful to control presentations. Of course, it's great for drawing. * I suggest the Surface Dock to optimizes your work. Just plug to add 4 USB ports, ethernet gigabit port, display port (even though it is a mini DP...) and audio output to your Surface. All that with embedded power supply, maintaining your power adapter on your backpack. * Buy a Microsoft Display Adapter! It is simply a MUST because wireless video transmission liberates you from wires!

Microsoft Surface Pro has all the features I need ... B&H Photo offered at a great price ! Others May Come Close but nobody beats B&H Photo or standing behind their products !

Purchased the laptop protective shell (iBenzer Neon case) for a new MacBook Pro 13 in. The iBenzer case is excellent in finish and fit. Definitely recommend.

This case is VERY solid, as you would expect from Pelican. However, I personally have a few caveats that other potential buyers may want to consider. First, the case is smaller than what I anticipated. Upon receiving it, I realized that I actually THOUGHT I was ordering the larger 1560LOC. But, in the long-run, I'm glad I actually got this one because (according to the description) it is the FAA Max carry-on size. While you may be able to sneak the 1560 on a plane, I'm not sure if it would fit in a majority of overhead compartments. These cases clearly have no give for being stuffed into a finite space. The laptop sleeve barely accommodates a 15 MacBook Pro. You really have to pull on the loop-around velcro strap to secure it. Finally, if you plan on putting any hard drives or other delicate electronics in the area designated for your overnight clothes, etc. plan on using those items for padding (or putting those items in protective cases) because there is none provided in this interior. Bottom line is that if you're looking for a true carry-on, ultra-protective case for your laptop, some accessories and 1-2 nights worth of clothes, this is a great choice.
