Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio Boot From Flash Drive

I have used several types of laptop computers, but Microsoft Surface Pro 7 is more than I expected :)

I bought it on sale and am not sure it is worth full pricing. I plan to use it in studio for Microsoft Surface with attached Monitor with Lightroom CC running. I plan to use a HDMI connected monitor for camera control on the Canon R6. I bought TetherGuard to protect the ports on the expensive R6. Looks good, so far.

Great little DVD/CD Drive, I use it with a NUC 11Pro and Microsoft Surface Pro, works great and the attached cable you can't beat it and can't lose it!

Microsoft surface pen is a great choice

I bought this to replace my Gigabyte Laptop’s main boot drive, it reads and writes about 7-800mbps faster, from 6200 on the original to now 7000 on this drive. Highly recommend, I have purchased two external crucial SSD drives in the past and they too are fast and also reliable.

I bought one of these gems to upgrade the hard drive in my laptop I use for audio production. It really speeds up the boot process and allows my DAW to perform orders of magnitude better than the old hard drive.

Just upgraded my laptop hard drive which was 5200RPM, but since the price is now right I decided enough waiting & got myself an SSD!!! Wow what a difference, I even timed before and after boot up times! I can hardly believe this is my 7 year old Lenovo!! I'll never go back to a mechanic hard drive again! HHD boot up to desktop fully loaded was 2:33:05 & now was an SSD it is.... 00:31:17!!!! Simply wooooow!!!

This upgrade from standard mechanical drive to SSD improved my boot time and overall performance! Went from over 10 minutes to less than 2 to boot up and now has all the apps running and waiting for me to use my laptop. I wasn't sure I wanted a laptop, but I bought a slightly used one from a friend to help them out. Initially I was disappointed. The laptop was years newer than my towers but a disappointing startup, once I realized it still had a mechanical drive in it, it was well duh! Replacing the drive was all I needed to finally move into having an easily mobile and effective computer to use.

PC or laptop will not boot due to faulty hardware? No problem - your data will not be lost. The 2.5/3.5" drive docking station connects to your PC / laptop and loads the hard drive as another drive so you access your coveted data! Connecting by usb or esata the transfer speeds do not disappoint. If there was a way to have the docking station powered over a usb cable without needing the power adapter that would be the only change I would make to this device. I received this product in exchange for an unbiased review.
