This tablet comes with six versatile keys whose functions can be assigned different tasks depending on the program. Also, best to consider the small size particularly if you may consider mapping the surface of the tablet to correspond to a smaller area while still maintaining the full dimensions of your viewing platform.

Purchased for photo editing with no prior experience using a tablet. It functions exactly as I expected and then some. More functions than I need and the learning curve was more than I expected but it allows me to try photo editing with a tablet. A smaller tablet would be all I needed but who knows I may be an artist in the future.

It's a Wacom tablet so it is pretty straight forward in what it is and how it functions. This news iteration of the higher end Wacom shares all the reliability and lineage as Wacom tablets of yesteryear. Pressure sensitivity and accuracy are the main attributes that effect me in my daily use. Some negatives are with the new Photoshop CC 2015, it took until the last update to fix some issues of pen skipping. It only occurred in PS and the last update killed that bug. The only other minor complaint I have is that the outside of the tablet is coated in a rubbery coating which feels nice and definitely adds a nice touch visually, but i find that sometimes loose sleeves and my watch tend to not slide across as smoothly as my old Wacom which was more of a shiny, slick surface. Overall it is a solid, reliable piece of hardware that I would definitely recommend to other artists & photographers!

The Wacom Intuos5 tablet has made using PhotoShop tools so much more exacting! I've only had it for just over a week, but have already had fun getting used to the various effects possible. The pen-pressure sensitivity gives me amazing control and creative ability. I'm definitely on the learning curve and trying to intelligently set up the multiple functions available with my Wacom, I think that's the hard part. As a photographer I know I'll love it when using PhotoShop and Lightroom, things I'd never be able to do with a mouse. I'm impressed with the many express keys that can be set up for different functions in each computer program. So glad I choose the Wacom Intuos5 tabletnot turning back. I'm looking forward to what I'm going to learn this year!

The best tablet that isn't the 12.9 model, but at that size, it is more of a laptop and less of a tablet. This model functions perfectly as a tablet or a laptop for most. Any deficiencies compared to that big brother model are more than made up by the more affordable price and compact design that allows for more flexible travel and use.

so far its the best tablet i've had, its replacing the samsung s4 which worked fine. the 7+ functions closer to a laptop which helps with the continuity using the apps between devices. i like the thin design and purchasing the samsung book cover/keyboard is a must. i used an off market cover and keyboard w/the s4. this works and fits much better.

Great tablet for photo editing and all functions instead of mouse. The ability to customize per application can greatly increase workflow once you get by the learning curve.

I'm still new to the Wacom tablet but very impressed with the capabilities and options for enhancing the integration with typical Photoshop functions and actions.
