Microsoft Update 05 19 2018 Crashing My Computer

easy to install and computer in running without crashing now

Basically, this is an update of the original DR-05 with a few changes. First of all, this thing SOUNDS GREAT (so did the old DR-05 BTW). I have tried this out against various recorders around the same price point, and to my ears, it simply sounds the best. I have used the USB interface function, worked great. I have not tried the overdub function as I do mainly interview work/DSLR recording. Other than that, it has a much better/brighter screen than the old one. Is it worth the $20 difference? I think so if only for the USB interface capability and the better screen. Battery life is about the same as the old one, but still about 5 hours longer than the Zoom. Got here in one day (as always, B&H rules).

I am very happy with this computer. Microsoft makes transferring everything a breeze.

Excellent computer, far better than any Microsoft based computer that I have used

I use this to make system images on Win 7 Pro... before I do windows update (just to be safe, because, you know, microsoft).  Priced right and works for me.  Generally takes two of these to make a system image of my C: drive with 115 GB on it.  Good safety net.

My computer front ports stopped working with a Windows 10 update, and I could not get them to work again. But my rear 3.1 ports were working fine. So I saw this little unit, and bought it at B&H's low price. It's plug and play, and functions perfectly. I plugged it into a rear port, and double-sided taped it to the computer top. It has a power button that once turned on, never has to be used again. Turn the computer off, turn it on again, and the hub powers up with the computer. Perfect, and an easy fix! I can high-speed transfer to my USB sticks again!

Memory has been great so far—came recommended from an apple genius. My work iMac was crashing for no apparent reason, apparently, the old memory was bad. This has made everything work faster and allowed me to work in multiple programs for the best symbiosis.
