Well, these are the standard for everyone doing podcasts it seems. These are really nice, mid-range priced mics that work really well for a variety of settings. Paired with a good preamp you won't go wrong with one of these.

We are a professional wedding and event photography company. For years we have been using mid-priced (mid-grade) glass, and were happy with the results. Until, that is, we put one of these on our lenses. Wow, there is a world of difference, depth, and clarity awaiting anyone with Hoya glass on their lens!

Good mid priced system. Never had any problems with it. Good range. You will appreciate the scanning feature. The BLX1 body pack is plastic. The BLXR is a rackmountable receiver that has a few more features that the regular one. Worth the extra money. SM35 headset is comfortable to wear once you adjust it. It does require a different mic technique that a handheld , but you will get used to it. Does not come with batteries or a case. It does come with rack mounting tray and hardware.

Have used the high end Hosa cables exclusively in my home recording studio. These mid priced cables, I am happy to say, perform just as well! Solidly built, noiseless sound transfer, same Hosa quality in a much cheaper price range. Thank you!

I have a pair of mid-priced Sony headphones I bought in the 90's. I usually listened to compressed music on a high end cellphone. Last month I bought a Fiio player from B&H and loaded it with uncompressed music. This month I bought the Audio Technia ATH-M50x headphones. Of course I can hear nuances in the sound I never heard before! Another less obvious benefit is much less listening fatigue. My ears thanked me for that, so will yours!

Great mid-priced boompole. Might have gone carbon if I used it daily but this fits my needs perfectly. Good reach.
