I got this recorder to record my bands rehearsal's and it works great - just put it in the middle of the room and it captures the live sound with amazing accuracy. After rehearsal I download the WAV files to iTunes then convert them to mp3 for distribution to the band. It is so simple to work this little jewel, and I'm sure it would be great for recording a live concert, speech, etc.

This adapter eliminates the worry about your recorder shutting off because of batteries running down in the middle of recording important affairs. Your arsenal is incomplete without it.

In the middle of a critical interview, the batteries in my recorder died!!! Thankfully, I was able to plug this little dude in and we were right back on track! Super easy to use.....I just need to go get a 10' cable so I have even more flexibility!!
