Shooting video on memory cards, I have many to carry around. I used to loose track of all of the separate cases, but this case is perfect. Consolidating them to one case allows you to keep your work on your body so if something is stolen you atleast have your work.

At least one review mentioned not being able to record separate files. You need to simply set the file format to mono and each input that is record enabled will record to it's own file.A four track recorder with four mic pres at less than $, per track... Unbelievable. A few years ago this would have been an FX recorders wet dream. It's still a great bargain. One thing I would love to see is a sync function like the new 680 has but, still at this price nothing else comes really close. It's too early to tell but Tascam has a very decent rep for solid devices and I expect these will hold up well.

Bought this for recording a separate audio track for YouTube videos The audio is great with numerous options. One note is that the MicroSD slot can only accept cards up to 32GB. I had a 128GB card that was not recognized. 32GB provides plenty of storage for my needs.
