This little Midi Box is a welcome addition to my Midi Configuration Studio needs. At first I was reluctant to purchase it because I felt it was a bit expensive for a Midi Interface... but it is worth it. Here's why Pros Excellent Build Quality, solid top grade materials and it looks good Works without the need for driver installation, so easy plug and play 8 Standard 5 Pin Midi Ports Plus 3 USB 3.0 Ports and a USB Host Port which gives me lots of options for all of my gear Automatic signal detection is great. Allows each MIDI port to work as an input or output LED Indicator Lights let you know what's going on In Standalone (without a computer) there are 3 modes with a dedicated Mode Selector, 1 Midi In to 7 Outs, MIDI thru and MIDI merge configurations You can use it as a Stand Alone or USB Host mode Ships with USB Cable and 5V Power Supply, yes they include a power supply! Cons Price but NOT really this is one well built, powerful Midi Interface that is loaded with Connection and Interface Options. I think it is worth the money for what it offers. 5 |

I was excited for this audio interface to come out because of the two headphone outputs for monitoring, multiple output port options on the back, in-built additional USB-A ports, and that it operates by USB-C. Also I heard great reviews online. The in-built usb ports are great, so that I don't have to have as many adapters from USB C to USB A for my laptop with other devices. I first heard of Arturia when I was in the market for a midi keyboard, and so far, they do not disappoint. A massive bonus for me is how this interface is much smaller than I expected, which is amazing. Plus, it comes with power plugs for different countries. It doesn't HAVE to be plugged in to power (unless you want to use the interface's additional in-built usb ports for something like a midi keyboard), so that is nice, but also good to have the ability for extra usb ports. It would be even better if it didn't have the need to be plugged in to get power to the usb ports to power my midi keyboard, but I can live with that compromise because I think that's just literally a physical necessity (I don't think there's anything out there at the time of writing that could do that without a power supply). The small form factor is great for me since I travel a lot, and I don't expect to need to replace this interface for a long time since it's perfect for my needs. 5 |

I already have the Satechi hub, but I needed a few extra USB-A inputs. So I got this...I use it to connect my MIDI keyboard and drumpad, as well as my iLok and external harddrive with all my sound libraries to my Mac....So basically it only gets used during music-production related tasks...just one plug and everything is connected... It just works. 5 |

I use this to send MIDI info from my e-drums to my Mac (with a USB-C adapter). Works flawlessly. 5 |

This thing works flawlessly for me! USb3 enables lightning fast latency, you can fill this thing up and run midi with solid timing, everything gets their own entire midi port. Plus I have room for other people to join or expand in the future. The USB hub on the back seemed like a silly addition to me at first, but having it I've realized how useful it is, I've got a few other rack items that I wasn't utilizing the USB control features on due to wire distance. In my setup, this ESI interface solved that as well. In your DAW, you select your input and output midi port and channel, and its as if you crawled behind everything and repatched the cables directly between devices. Every port can be In or Out. No wasted ports for midi devices that only need 1 way communication. This is probably one of the best features, as almost nobody utilizes an even number of ins/outs I can't recommend this enough. 5 |

The Focusrite Scarlet, is the best USB sound card I have used to date. I am very very satisified. I am glad I had the patience to wait for these to come into stock. If your looking for the most bang for your buck here you go. Works wonderfully with Ableton, M4L, and MaxmspJitter. Running under Windows 7. I use the Scarlet as a recording interface during the week, then it is my main out for the live show. Easy setup, and comes with Focusrite Scarlet VST/RTAS suite (Awesome plugs) The midi in and out port on the back is a bonus you can use it with an external synth, or in my case a USB controler that happens to have midi ports this lets me lighten the USB load on my CPU. I have no complaints so far on this awesome USB soundcard. 5 |

This is my first Korg product. I got Korg's all 3 white Slim-Line USB MIDI Controllers. It all started with iMS20 app. I needed small sized midi controllers. Korg's Slim-Line was the perfect choice. Lets describe the product: The nanoKEY2: its very light to carry around, and easily fits in any bag. Great when travelling. The unit and the keys are made out of plastic and have a clean solid feel. I was initially afraid the unit might feel like a toy keyboard, but when I got it I was satisfied with it. I must say that in the pictures the keys appear bigger and wider in size, however in reality they are almost finger-width wide. It will take some practice to get used to. The keys are velocity sensitive (also editable using the Korg editor software) and responsive. They do produce a very light click sound when you hit them, but they are not annoying. I have read elsewhere that Korg worked on improving the keys in nanoKEY2 over the previous generation which really sounded as if you were typing on a PC!! Either way, that's fine with me, remember you are using a Slim-Line USB MIDI Controller not a piano!! Finally, there are mini buttons on the right: octave(+/-), pitch(+/-), sustain, and modulation (also editable using the Korg editor software to match your DAW software or music app.) 5 |

I bought this cable to connect my devices with USB type-B jacks (MIDI keyboard, USB microphone) directly into my iPad without the use of the Apple dongle. It works great, especially with the USB mic when I'm doing voiceover work in a mobile setting and want to minimize my kit. 5 |

This might be the perfect USB MIDI cable. Highly recommended and well worth the money. Most of those cheap commodity USB MIDI interface cables you see elsewhere fail to pass large SysEx messages (and, by large, some can't even handle messages more than 100 bytes or so without truncation/corruption, or even failing to send at all). As SysEx was important to me (and not to mention a standard feature of MIDI that any interface should be able to handle) I did some extensive loopback testing with this interface... It passed every single SysEx message without error from 2 bytes up to 20K (and I have no doubt it could handle any size). Other pros for me about this cable include compact, solid construction, no MIDI wart box in the middle, and the clever auto-detect feature where either MIDI port can function a MIDI IN or MIDI OUT depending what you plug it into. Just plug it in and it figures it out, now that's cool! The materials are high quality (fabric covered leads) and this 6 foot length (each MIDI port has its own, full-length lead!) is generous and practical. Highly recommended! 5 |

The Yamaha USB MIDI driver did not move forward from iMac High Sierra to Mac Studio Ventura without using Rosetta emulator - which so far I have not been inclined to do. I started looking around for USB/MIDI wizardry and found this item. It works perfectly with no Yamaha drivers. Naturally, this cable does not fully expose the MO8 like the driver does. What it exposes is a bunch of routable and assignable MIDI channels. After testing, I was relieved to find out the cable itself is seen as a proper MIDI device, and discovered by Mac OS, and integrated perfectly in both DAWs I tested. (Pro Tools, Logic) On the keyboard side, the MIDI channels follow the parts in multi-timbral operation which is how I use the MO8. I have lost very little, if anything. So far, no delay compensation has been required. And the price is great. And its wonderful. And I'm happy. 5 |
