I purchased this cable actually for future use for a microphone I will be using with my recorder. Worked well with a mike I currently have.

The mike makes a huge difference and the audio qualiy is superior to the built in microphone.

I've used this mike in many conditions and it always comes through as a reliable, quality-sounding microphone. Nothing fancy... just does the job it is supposed to do.

I was expecting this thing to *sound* like a paging microphone. But it actually sounds really good. We're using it in a restaurant, and the cooks announce that orders are ready from the kitchen using an SM-58, and this mike is at the registers. It sounds just as good as the 58, so my client is very happy. I would love to have a silicone pad to cover the base, so that grease and liquid won't get into it, but other than that, it's a great-sounding mike, and it worked perfectly right out of the box.

I have a Sennheiser shotgun mike - and then I acquired a Sennheiser camera mount to a cold shoe0 with built-in stabilizer. Yes, it's a very long microphone for a camera - but with a SmallRig cage, it actually is pretty cool. The only thing missing was this cable. Now that I have it - I have a microphone that is much better than the usual camera mounted options and still useable in a run and gun situation.

I needed a head microphone that was simple, didn't have a clip on pack and a wire and sent clear sound to my camera. The first time I used it, the AC in the room was like a tornado and there was loud music playing during the class. But the head mike picked up ONLY the instructor's voice and it was sharp and clear. I just ordered a second one last night from B&H. This mike was B&H's suggestion when I asked them for a low cost, no wire way to achieve my goal.

Our senior church group already had a Shure dynamic microphone from B&H but it is originally wired with a long cord. This created a trip hazard so we were considering buying a wireless mike. But B&H showed us this great device which converts the mike. It couldn’t be easier - plug one piece into mobile speaker, the other into bottom of the mike, make sure both are on same channel number and switch them on. It works great. We are really satisfied!

This tiny mike gives you A full-bodied sound with body/bottom and nice mid/highs. Really pleasant sounding. You cant believe what you hear having this little guy on the boom/pole. It works flawless interior in ambient/reverberant rooms too; many shotguns (MKH416 is one) sounds terrible in roomy enviroments (the back loob has often A very strange frequency pattern) This is A perfect microphone for Documentary filmmakers/DSLR independent filmmakers. I do work with feature film, commercials, docs, music recording and this Sanken shotgun work for all those purposes perfectly. My best microphone buy in many years...since I bought my Schoeps CMIT 5.

I am an audio and video producer. I recently bought the Sennheiser MKE 600 microphone with professional windsock, mount and pole. I also purchased the 10 and 2 ft cords. I do audio with a Roland digital recorder and found the audio to be very crisp and clean. In recording on the boom at full extension over a choir with piano, guitar and trumpet, I found that the direction of the mike was very important as it does not blend sounds when give the chance to separate them. What you point at is what you get. The minister, about 100 feet away, was easily understandable with the shotgun as well. There was in house amplification of him but this mike bore down on the actual sound he was putting out and came through loud and clear. You've got to ante up for this unit but it sounds quite good so far.

I had purchased a vintage Mercury microphone and needed a stand for it (it's a photo prop for me). The mike screwed on perfectly, and it's perfect for what I needed it for.
