I have a 2 year old that plays with all of my things and this military grade shock proof hard drive is perfect. She can't brake it! It is powered by what you plug it into so no wall outlet needed! The shipping was even really fast! I have absolutely no complaints about this product.

The flash drive seems to have been built to satisfy military specs. No issue carrying it in a keychain in my pocket.

This is a military grade sight. It is lighter than the Aimpoint patrol sight and it has better optical clarity.

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

Easy to use and durable USB flash drive

Dont expect military grade for this price, but its actually well build, has several good features, ease of use, pretty good range and picture quality. I have now used it for a month under different conditions and so far it surpass my expectations. The video output is also a nice feature and function well. The enclosed manual is a lousy print. Better download the electronic version and keep it for reference in your computer, iphone, ipad or whatever pdf reader source you have. I however identified a few minor improvement options: 1. Would be good if iGen could enclose just a normal cheap plastic lens cap for the main lens as well as the IR. The metal pin-hole cap is too complicated to unscrew or add as a standard lens cap if its pitch dark (and where you don't need it), but wanna protect the lens(es) before you put it in your pocket. OK, I found one in my old lens-cap-collection. 2. Its not possible to add a neck strap and since the unit is somewhat heavy to dump in the nearest pocket, such would be convenient too.

First, some expectations: this is not a military grade component. It's a device to play games and run simulators. With that in mind, it is absolutely brilliant in what it does and reviewers faulting it because it doesn't also iron their shirts are misleading potential buyers. If you run a VR headset, as the trend moves in that direction, you will appreciate having every function mapped to a button that's accessible without having to remove your headgear. Is the layout perfect and fits every hand, no. But within reason, and some repositioning of your hand for certain buttons, it is a very good setup. If you want to pay 3 or 4 times as much for a unit made out of metal and having brain-surgeon levels of precision, knock yourself out. For the rest of the everyday casual gamer, you can't go wrong with the X56. It is smooth moving, configurable, and adaptable. If you're coming from a basic joystick, you will be impressed. If you come from using your keyboard and mouse, there's just no comparison as this is so much better. A final word: while everyone on the interwebs is hustling, scalping and gouging prices for this device, B&H gives you the true story about their stock and keeps an honest price. If B&H tells you the device is in stock or you will get it in a few days, you can take that to the bank. When a recent stock of these showed up, B&H marked it online as such and shipped mine immediately with a free 2-day shipping included. Much appreciate them for that.
