Millennium Falcon Wireless Charger Mode 2

Easy set up, balanced, powerful sound. I ducked because I swear the Millennium Falcon flew right over my head. Dolby Atmos is quite the experience.

The Auray Wireless Charger with Case for Rode Wireless GO and Wireless GO II has been a nice little wireless charger. It's compact, well-made, and comes with a little case so it's easy to toss in a bag and not worry about anymore. For my purposes, I only use this with a wireless charger and it works great. The fewer cords I deal with the better. I saw some comments on the cords and I have a bunch of USB A to C cords so I haven't run into any issues. All-in-all this works great for what I need it to do. So far this has been everything and more that I have looked for in a wireless remote. There is the push hold mode for bulb photos. The receiver works from a good ways away from the transmitter. It also attaches to the flash hot shoe. Very easy to sync and a battery is not needed when only the transmitter button is used.

I bought this flash not to use with an Olympus camera but to use with two Panasonic cameras that I own, the G1 and GH2. The flash unit works well with both these cameras. Most importantly, the TTL-Auto mode in which the camera controls the flash settings works as advertised. The wireless control mode doesn't work, but that's the fault of the Panasonic cameras, which don't have any built-in support for wireless flash control.

This flash is a great unit for any wedding and event photographer. In iTTL mode, it works just like my Nikon SB910. The best part about this flash is that it now has the ability to control other wireless remote flashes within the Godox family of flashes. You no longer need to have an extra XT-2 sender to use other wireless flash units. You can control everything from the TT685N II. This is a wonderful addition to the flash. On the downside, when you're in wireless mode, the Main (M) flash in iTTL mode chronically underexposes the subject. The issue also manifested itself in the older 685N so it must be a design issue. You have to crank up the exposure anywhere from +3 to +1.3 to get a decent result. In regular iTTL mode, this doesn't happen. Overall, this flash is perfect for most situations as long as you can work around a few of its idiosyncrasies.
