Mini Brands Gold Microphone

This is a great microphone. It does not require an audio interface. Simply plug it to your computer through USB and there you go! It also has an option for monitoring with zero latency. The default microphone sound level is too quite for my listeners. So, I use peace + equalizer combo software to adjust its dB output level (+18dB). I compared to my Rode Mini USB condenser microphone. Q2U had a more natural sounding and rich audio. Rode mini USB sounded little dull (or muffled). However, Q2U has much more ambient noise which requires more editing time at post production. As a teacher, I do not have extra time for that. So, I prefer Rode mini USB for my lecture recordings and I may use Q2U for broadcasting where recording is not a priority. Finally, this info can be useful to some: Q2U doesn't work with Notability on iPad Pro (3rd Gen), Rode Mini USB does.

I am glad that I purchased the Sennheiser MZW102 windscreen for my MKE2 gold lavalier microphone. You will not hear and pops or scratching noises when you use this windscreen. I highly recommend it for older MKE2 gold lavalier microphones.

The plate works great with my Mini LF. I use both Core and Gold Mount micro batteries to go with it.

I have these in v-mount and just bought four more gold mounts as I find them to work great on my Arri Alexa Mini. They're flight approved for carry-on and are easy to fit into any case. I often operate the camera holding onto the battery and these always feel solid.

I use the TetherPro USB 2.0 A Male to Mini-B 5-Pin Gold Plated cable to tether my Nikon D700 to Lightroom both at my studio and on location, and it has yet to loose connection or fail me on the job. It's bright orange color keeps me, my assistants or clients from tripping over it and causing a big time accident.

I use this to mount a mini ball-head to a microphone gooseneck. Works fine.

This microphone has a bit more output level than other Models and Brands. It drives my Icom radio just fine !

The Plastic mount bothered me from the start, but most brands seem to use them. It works very well mounted on a Cage with along with a �Microphone. It is a Very Bright, and Color Accurate LED. I just got the Vidpro Stabilizer too, so Yes you can get into Video on a Budget! I stand by my complaint that each buyer should post 1 review, (but I guess those guys were very excited, because it performs so well). Considering that this comes with Barn Doors attached, has a Slide in Diffuser and a decent Battery and a Charger, it's less than half the price of the other brands. The Vidpro line of accessories come very well packed, and when you use them, they leave you feeling very satisfied. As usual, the B&H Expedited Delivery is still the best around, and the Deal Zone is very well worth the time to check it Daily (I saved 30%).

The SONY ECM-VG1 is an excellent microphone. The quality is far better than some of the more expensive other brands. I used it in a wedding shoot this past weekend and it far exceeded my expectations.
