I bought this lens to put on a video camera as it features the de-clickable iris but I used it recently in a studio photo session paired with my Nikon D800 and it performed amazingly well. The colour, the 3D feel to the photos is hard to explain. If you can, go see the guys at B&H and try it on your camera...you will love it. Warning: it is a pro lens and it doesn't suffer fools. It slapped me around a bit at first as it takes time to get used to the manual focus and no IS. But keep at it and you will be rewarded with some fine images. Now I want the 85 Milvus. 5 |

I had three reasons for purchasing this item: (1) Lots of storage to cover 3-4 cameras for 7-14 days (2) Reliability - WD products have been very reliable for me over the last 5 years (3) This type was recommended by the manufacturer.
