It's a Mini DisplayPort to DVI-I Adapter. It either works or doesn't. Mine does. Hooray technology! 5 |

I have this switch set up to allow me to switch between a Retina MacBook Pro and my tower gaming PC with Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card, and it performs the job very well. Previously I had a similar setup using an IOGear DVI+USB KVM switch between MacBook Pro and my older tower PC, with just a DVI-to-DisplayPort adapter on the video cable to the Mac. For the new setup I bought a DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable for the Mac (could have used an adapter but the cable was $10 and it's less... lumpy... this way.) I've only been using it for a week or so, but it's working great! Comes with all cables, which seem to be solid quality, and fully bus-powered - small and light but seems well made. The older IOGear DVI+USB2 switch wasn't as expensive as this when it was new, but I guess that's the price I pay for going 4K. I did my usual research on all available DisplayPort + USB switch options before selecting this one, and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice here. If you're trying to drive a 2K or 4K monitor from two DisplayPort-equipped machines and share a mouse and keyboard between them, this is the ticket. 5 |

If you need to go from DVI to HDMI, this cable will get you there. 5 |

Need this because my video card, even though having dual DVI , HDMI, and DisplayPort... can't operate three monitors in a DVI + DVI + HDMI configuration. But, DVI + DVI + DisplayPort works. This adapter solved that problem when connecting an external HDMI LCD TV as a third monitoring source for video editing and playback. 5 |

On my mac mini 2018 with a 4k monitor, I swapped an HDMI to HDMI cable with this thunderbolt to displayport cable. Huge difference! Before, the entire display was sluggish and unresponsive. Now, the picture is sharp, and the UI is smooth and responsive. 5 |

Works great. It's an Apple product, and it's pretty much the only way to be sure that you're ordering a Thunderbolt 2 cable in the mini-DisplayPort form factor. I needed to connect two old MacBook Airs, and this made it possible. 5 |

We purchased this cable for use with a new monitor. We've never used a Mini DisplayPort connection before, but it is working well with no issues whatsoever. The cable seems to be of very good quality, and I especially appreciate the solid connection with the PC interface and the monitor. The product description indicates its use for MacBook products and HDTV, but we use for a PC to monitor connection 5 |

When adding a new computer to my set up, I needed a mini-DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable to connect the computer to my existing monitor. When shopping for the cable, I found a number that were 1/3 the price, but they all said that they didn't completely met the spec. The B&H cable description proudly announced that the cable exceeds the spec. And, as always, the part I ordered arrived on time. 5 |

It is very useful to extend a Windows 10 laptop with a USB-C video output to two external 1920x1080 or 1920x1200 monitors along with other wired USB Type-A accessories like a keyboard and mouse. To have two external monitors, you must have Windows (not a Mac) and you must use the Mini DisplayPort output for one of the monitors with a cable that connects directly to a Mini DisplayPort or DisplayPort input on a monitor. Also, make sure that you connect it to a USB-C port on your laptop that supports video output. I have a laptop that uses the integrated graphics of an i7-8550U Intel processor connected to 2 HP 2415U 1920x1200 monitors, one using HDMI and the other using the Mini DisplayPort to DisplayPort cable that comes with the monitor, and it works great. This allows you to have a 3-display setup at work (including the laptop display) that only requires a single cable to connect and disconnect your laptop as you start and end your work day. It was 4 stars for me because all of this was not obvious and required some research and experimentation on my part, but now it is 5 stars now that I know how to use it for 3 displays. Reading their product webpage helps, too: https://www.iogear.com//product/GUD3C03/?utm_source=productpage&utm_medium=comparisontable&utm_campaign=GUD3C03 5 |

I have a Mac Mini with an HDMI video output. I have an LG flatscreen monitor with both a VGA and DVI input. Apple wants me to spend $29 for a Mini Display Port to DVI Adapter; or $29 for an HDMI to DVI adapter. (You get the idea they are fixated on the number 29 . . . ) Plus I have to have the interim cable; that's 4 connection points instead two - never a good thing. OR B&H has a 3-foot HDMI to DVI cable, for NOT $29. One cable; two connection points. PLUS the cable itself is big-boy heavy duty thick. 'Nuff said. 5 |
