Mini Microphone For Sale

This is a great microphone. It does not require an audio interface. Simply plug it to your computer through USB and there you go! It also has an option for monitoring with zero latency. The default microphone sound level is too quite for my listeners. So, I use peace + equalizer combo software to adjust its dB output level (+18dB). I compared to my Rode Mini USB condenser microphone. Q2U had a more natural sounding and rich audio. Rode mini USB sounded little dull (or muffled). However, Q2U has much more ambient noise which requires more editing time at post production. As a teacher, I do not have extra time for that. So, I prefer Rode mini USB for my lecture recordings and I may use Q2U for broadcasting where recording is not a priority. Finally, this info can be useful to some: Q2U doesn't work with Notability on iPad Pro (3rd Gen), Rode Mini USB does.

Good microphone at a super good price purchased on sale from B&H for a super low, competitive price. It is smaller than many microphones of this type, roughly the same size as the popular BM-700 microphones found elsewhere, but this one has a better made, better sounding FET circuit inside. Because I enjoy building and modifying microphones DIY, I replaced the stock 16mm electret capsule with a low cost 25mm capsule and it sounds even better now. Nevertheless, this is a good microphone for the cost. Whether you will like it may depend on how you use it, as good microphone technique and setting proper gain on the mixer or other interface can make a substantial difference in results - for example, it has substantial proximity effect which can work for or against you, depending on how you use it. This is not, of course, equal to any number of larger, more expensive, and better made microphones for sale on the B&H web site. That said, it provides a huge bang for the buck and used judiciously will provide excellent results. After all, nobody really cares about your microphone - they care so much more about what you have to say or what and how you sing with it. A serviceable basic all-purpose starter microphone that can sound good and get the job done. I use mine to make spoken email messages, with computer speech recognition applications, and with my ham radio, with excellent results. Hardly a Neumann U87, but not bad for the price! And that is just MY take ... your mileage may vary. J

I had come to purchase a podcast microphone and I had a choice in mind before the sale person called my attention to something else. The sales person I met the first time suggested the product I bought, but I had to wait till the following day sleeping over it, since there's no way to sample the quality. I bought this on sale after deciding to switch from a USB microphone to an XLR microphone. It has no discernible background noise or hum. The controls are intuitive, and the sockets are thoughtfully positioned. It's versatile regarding input and output options and offers loopback for mixing. The accompanying software allows for significant boosting of the microphone signal via the equalizer and compressor modules, a set of which is included for each separate mic input. There are 3 programable pads for triggering sound files, and a convenient mute button for hiding coughs and sneezes. Well worth the investment.

I bought the Mac mini because it was on sale for $499 and I combined it with a OWC Mercury Elite Pro Dual & (2) 12 Terabyte hard drives to create a backup server/share drive for my family. I had thought about upgrading my 2016 Hackintosh with a new motherboard to do the same thing, but the Mac Mini was cheaper and far more reliable.
