I purchased this camera for my residence and use it on a Mac mini with Security Spy software (excellent for Mac). The camera works great and Ive had it for a year no with NO issues. Auto tracking works great, able to read license on cars driving past my house. I highly recommend this. B & H made the purchase cost friendly and quickly processed. 5 |

Ive converted hundreds upon hundreds of vhs,8mm,mini dv tapes & more using this unit. Alot of these reviews are user errors, yes read that correctly people..USER ERROR. The click popn from vhs tapes is easy to fix just disconnect then reconnect usb cable before recording. I have no idea what these reviews are on about & I have 2 elgato converters & use them 24/7 , as with most things in life its usually user error 99.9% of the time. 5 |

This is a great microphone. It does not require an audio interface. Simply plug it to your computer through USB and there you go! It also has an option for monitoring with zero latency. The default microphone sound level is too quite for my listeners. So, I use peace + equalizer combo software to adjust its dB output level (+18dB). I compared to my Rode Mini USB condenser microphone. Q2U had a more natural sounding and rich audio. Rode mini USB sounded little dull (or muffled). However, Q2U has much more ambient noise which requires more editing time at post production. As a teacher, I do not have extra time for that. So, I prefer Rode mini USB for my lecture recordings and I may use Q2U for broadcasting where recording is not a priority. Finally, this info can be useful to some: Q2U doesn't work with Notability on iPad Pro (3rd Gen), Rode Mini USB does. 5 |
