Incredible value, great rocky mountain leg c-stand

Thoughtfully designed with 2 Rocky mountain legs for quick leveling, built in spirit level,and an extra locking brake for the stem for added security with heavy camera loads. Excellent quality, excellent stands. Works great for getting bigger 5k, 10k fresnel units low to the ground, and on uneven surfaces.

I have a Sigma 100-400 lens that I'm very impressed with but wanted to extend my reach for Rocky Mountain big game and bird photography. The TC-2001 does exactly that without sacrificing photo vividness. Easy to attach and use. Very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

If you want a stand that is relatively light, goes very high and has a rocky mountain leg then this is a great stand.  Not cheap, but worth it over the life time of its use.

I purchased this little guy for a trip to the Rocky Mountain National Park for use with my Olympus E-M1 II / E-M10 II bodies and assortment of lenses. This tripod exceeded my expectations, particularly the included ball head. No sag whatsoever even with my E-M1 II and 12-40 2.8 Pro �or the PanLeica 100-400. Perfect for traveling with a smaller format kit.

I have the full sized version of this stand (black, with the rocky mountain leg) and use it constantly. I often needed it to be shorter, so this version has filled that need. It's so well made, the black is a very nice finish, and I will use it constantly.

I lost my previous one and got exactly the same compact, stable (in heavy winds in the Canadian rocky mountain in mid winter). Highly recommended for the travel photographer.

Packed gear for a week-long workshop with Rocky Mountain School of Photography in Montana. Flew from Lexington, KY - first leg of trip was on small plane and it still fit under the seat (not in the overhead tho). This trip I took two cameras with lenses attached, 24-70mm aND 70-200 mm, 2 SB910 flashes in their bags, light meter, filters, remote triggers, flash modifiers and battery charger. I could have also fit the 85mm lens. Love the way the top opens so I can just grab the camera and go. Room for a laptop as well tho my Mac Book Pro didn't quite fit. I am happy with this purchase - as previous people have said the handles are a bit flimsy but I don't think it will be an issue. This is just what I needed for airplane travels.
