I have a sailboat and if I want you shoot some video with my camera there is always some, or a lot, of wind noise. It's no longer sailing season, but I checked out this external mic on a windy day. It worked very nicely! I'm glad I purchased it from B&H Photo. : - ) 5 |

I use this mic to record string and wind (brass mostly) instruments. The different patterns make it effective in a variety of spaces depending on whether you want to reject other sounds or include reflections. Versatile and great sound quality. 5 |

Works as advertised. Outside cuts wind and other noise to a minimum. Using this in tandem with the Video Mic Pro control system has improved my outdoor recordings very much. Be sure to practice adjusting the mic controls on the fly. You will like the results. 5 |
