Minolta Digital Picture Frame

Have old Minolta lenses and currently use Nikon digital camera. The adapter allows me to use my old minolta lenses on my newer Nikon camera. Just working through the peculiarities of using old manual lenses on a fully modern camera. Results so far have been OK but I assume will improve once I get accustomed to the adapter and minolta lense differences. Ordering through BH Photo on line was quick and easy and fair price.

I use this product on my Sony digital and Minolta 35mm. Works well.

I don’t have a tons of space to hang every picture that I love on my wall, but thanks to this frame I can enjoy every one of them and it makes me feel like I’m at the art gallery sometimes. The size of the frame is big enough to enjoy every detail of the picture, but not overly huge on the wall. It’s not heavy, so I can change the location where I want it to be. So far, I didn’t have any bugs or problems to set it up. Works really great, fast and doesn’t consume too much of WiFi. I love that depends on my mood, I can choose what I want to see at my wall, whenever I feel sentimental I put family pictures and it just warms my heart. I didn’t have problems with the app too. Overall, I think it’s unbelievable. This digital picture frame is everything and can fit it any design, I think I will never come back to simple picture frames after using this modern miracle.

It is quite heavy and required two of us to hang it and I made my husband triple check that it was hung well enough to prevent any falls. It blends in perfectly with the rest of my decor and is usually the first thing people notice when they walk in our house.

Frame TV looks great and having the bevel frame edges make it really look like a picture when in picture mode.

New to digital photography and am amazed what the technology can do from the days of my Minolta SL R I purchased in 1972

This adapter makes it so easy to use those lenses on a brand new camera with the lenses are over 40 years old. The focus confirmation ship works perfectly there are no issues and it runs and works well for the vintage of the lens that you use on it they are fine what a great job in design and it works above and beyond what I am needed it to

I got this to scan some 1,000 (selected) slides from before the digital age. (My old Minolta Dimage Elite 5400 scanner went on the blink.) The Plustek scanner is reasonably priced, and produced excellent jpg images from slides taken as far back as the early 1960s. After some initial hiccups in installing the enclosed software (Silverfast 8), there were no glitches of any sort, and it was smooth sailing. Silverfast 8 is easy to use, and is quite powerful (although I didn't do much with its capabilities, since I use Nik Software for post processing). The few times I did use it to control color cast and others did not require a trip to the manual.

I had a Canon Rebel in the 90s and it was such an easy camera to use, when I decided to upgrade my old digital (a minolta), I decided I wanted a Canon again. So glad I bought it. The technology may change, but there is still something so familiar with this as it looks, feels, and operates just like my old one from the 90s. I also liked that this was a complete kit. All I added were UV filters, cap strings, screen protector, and a hand strap. The wifi and app connection is simple after you follow the directions closely. The pictures so far are really good. (pic posted only edits warmth and contrast due to overcast day)
