Mirror Laptop To Samsung Tv Windows 10

I bought it to upgrade our Samsung laptop. It fits and I was able to install Windows 10 with no problems.

Worked great with my Windows 10 laptop. I did not need to use the Driver DVD.

This is just what was needed for more flexibility during presentations. Works great with my Windows 10 laptop.

Be using it to connect a laptop to Ethernet and work works without any issues in Windows 10.

The Pearstone High-Speed HDMI cable is a dandy; To mirror the laptop on the TV it comes in handy. This basic HDMI cable with ethernet is moderately priced and works well.

I was tasked with having users mirror their laptop on a tv (after the built was complete) without software and I have found the answer. A facility had just finished a renovation and the tv was mounted, power was installed and network drops were in place but no thought had gone into how to utilize the boardroom to its full potential. After much discussion with endusers and management the most cost effective way would be to use an HDMI extender without any software installation required (since most laptops are locked down these days). With cables plugged in (HDMI and CAT5/6) all is left for the user to do is to plug in HDMI to their laptop and we now have the laptop screen on the tv. Another great product from Startech.com. Tested with Shure SM58S mic on windows 10 PC/Laptop. Works with both.

Pros: Very fast startup, Very easy to install using Samsung's Data Migration Software. I installed the 850 PRO by migrating my boot HDD to the 850 PRO and replacing the HDD (my C: drive) with the much faster 850 PRO. Everything went very smoothly in my Windows 10 AMD desktop. Cons: Samsung could do a better job on instructing the user on how to prepare the system prior to the start of data migration. For example there should be a set of instructions informing the user to make sure the AHCI driver is loaded on the Windows 10 system prior to the start of data migration. If you don't use AHCI you will not get the maximum performance from your ssd. If you install the AHCI driver after migrating the data to the ssd and then replacing the hdd with the ssd, you may lose the ability to boot the computer from the ssd. Windows 10 does not install the AHCI driver in a fresh install of Windows 10. Samsung should have step by step instructions on what to do to make sure we get best performance for which the ssd was designed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So Bright! Easy set up. Perfect for gaming and watching movies. I was hesitant to buy a new TV because I really did not need one. Oh boy was I wrong! This tv makes everything look amazing. The TV is also future proof for gamers. It can run up to 144 hz at 4k! Consoles can only run 120 hz. So this tv won't fall behind when the new consoles lauch around the corner. My only wish is that samsung will add Dolby vision support. There is not much HDR10+ support and samsung either needs to fix it or except the decision they made and cut loses. On the next remote please include a source button. I get tired of having to click so many buttons to switch sources. Other than that this TV is 10/10 amazing!!!

I already had the VLC media player ap installed on my windows 10 laptop, so when I plugged this into my USB port straight from the box, it was recognized and functioned immediately. If your computer doesn't have a driver, Transcend provides one free, but you must download one in order to use external drives--perhaps that's why some users claim their player wouldn't work?
