Mirrorless Camera Gimbal Review

The Manfrotto Advanced^2 Hybrid Photo Backpack is the ultimate content creator camera bag. Everywhere you look (and some are hidden) there are pouches, zippers, padded compartments, and velcro sections to maximize storage and organization. There are padded zones for a mirrorless camera and two lenses, a small gimbal, audio microphones, cords, extra batteries, charger, water bottle, very well secured tripod or monopod (external) 14 MacBook Pro laptop with assorted accoutrement, And... space left over for a sizable hoagie sandwich. I especially love how this bag converts from carry bag, to shoulder bag, to backpack - all with super-fast photo-journalist style access to everything important. Remove the padded dual lens carrier (has its own handle and drawstring cover) and a fully assembled gimbal with mirrorless camera + audio rig easily fits in the rapid access zone via a side zipper - so even in full backpack, we timed it where you'll never miss more than 21 seconds of unfolding action. Also comes with a durable waterproof bag-cover to keep contents dry in the wettest monsoon weather. A must have for today's content creators.

All I ever wanted in a Mirrorless Camera.

This has made my life so much simpler. It truly works and is so light. I previously used a gimbal but it was bulky and heavy, and I've never really loved any (traditional) ball head I've had. This Ball Head has replaced both my Wemberley and my Kirk ball head. It is not quite the perfect gimbal but it is absolutely fine enough for my purposes (sports at a distance primarily) and does everything I ever needed from a ball head. I don't do astro or need to shoot straight up so its range is everything I've ever needed. Leveling it is a breeze, btw. I went with this Mini over the Pro because I'm transitioning to mirrorless and I found the resistance on this worked better for a mirrorless camera plus telephoto. But it also works fine with my older D850 and 600 prime. I'm not a professional and maybe if I were I would require the 5% smoother workings of a dedicated gimbal but for my amateur purposes this has been the best addition I've had to my setup in years. And, of course, at 1 pound, it is so easy to bring along.

If you're in tv news and use mirrorless cameras on a shoot and you have a monitor attached you your gimbal, this cable will connect to your Anton Bauer battery and give your monitor all the power it need. I used my gimbal on a protest and we marched for hours and I was able to see my shots throughout the entire broadcast. I highly recommend using this cable to power up anything to maximize sufficient power for any shoot during an extended time period. A MUST HAVE FOR PHOTOJOURNALISTS!!!!

I went from the Zhiyun Crane 2 to the Weebill-S and I'm so happy with it. It's better suited for my mirrorless system but with such a strong motor I think this gimbal can handle heavier setups as well. The portability has been great when in the field and the footage is beautiful and smooth. Very happy!

I love this gimbal. I have a Nikon Z6 and, while mirrorless cameras are typically lighter weight, this full frame body with the massive 27-70mm f/2.8 requires some extra strength. I originally picked up a Ronin SC but, weight aside, the large lens configuration prevented the full rotation of my camera. The Moza Air 2S came to the rescue! I will say, the desktop app is garbage but the mobile app is alright.

These quick releases are great and very versatile. I use them on my mirrorless cameras so I can quickly take them on and off my gimbal. The added 1/4 mount on the plates allows me to put them on a tripod without taking the plates off the cameras, which is super convenient. All 3 fit together too, so I can mix and match without worrying about them not fitting, something I've had issues with with other plates. Great quick release plates and well worth the price!

Great 3-Axis Gimbal for small mirrorless cameras, smart phones and Sport cameras like the GoPro's. I like the fact that it folds up for easy storage. I hope that the contacts do not wear out due to collapsing and opening the gimbal to and from it's folded position. I will be ordering a Moza Air 2 for my Lumix digital camera soon.
