Mirrorless Camera Review Telephoto Photography

I purchased to NiSi solar filter to capture the solar eclipse with my mirrorless camera using a telephoto lens. I read the reviews and it met all the specs I was looking for to photograph the sun safely and protecting my camera. I look forward to the next eclipse in April and will be using the NiSi filter again.

The bag is large enough to easily fit a mirrorless camera with telephoto lens. It is very well padded with lots of additional pockets for accessories.

This is not a replacement for a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. So what can it do? It can take telephoto pictures further away than you can with any DSLR/lens combo available. Just understand that quality wise you are getting a picture that is made to be viewed on a phone or computer screen. You won't be getting the sharpness of quality of a real camera, but you will have fun !

Needed this adapter to use a 4/3s Telephoto to an Olympus OM-D Mk III mirrorless camera. Allows all the automatic functions of the camera work with this huge lens. Bought this following a try with another brand that just did not connect properly and resulted in a black screen on the camera. Great piece of gear!

This is an exceptional video camera. While the photography of this mirrorless camera is too notch, it’s the video that reigns supreme.

Night photography? Telephoto lens? You have to have this. Just pushing the button on the camera can cause the whole rig to shake and blur your photo. This remotes ensures that you will have clear shots.

I came across this camera while looking for a telephoto lens for wildlife and landscape photography, but who wants to haul around another lens in the bag? The 25-400mm focal range of this camera is very appealing, and I gotta say, the photos it produces are very, very nice. The experience of shooting with this camera is phenomenal! I love the amount of controls it provides, the menus are easy to navigate and set up, it is very customizable. The quality of the photos is superb, and using it is just FUN. Now— The autofocus is decent, but I’m comparing it to a camera twice its price. Considering that, it’s quite good. Most of my shots have been used with manual focus. The body is very light; this is a very good thing but does make it feel less “premium.” It also feels plastic-y. All that being said, the 5 stars is deserved for the overall shooting experience and the images it produces. I’m using it for photography, have not tried any video work with it, I seldom do video. For photos, I’d recommend.

The camera works well for me. I plan to use it for bird photography. The camera and telephoto lens are not as heavy as those designed for larger formats.
