Mirrorless Camera Settings For Landscape

This is my first Fuji Camera and first mirrorless. My last camera was a Nikon entry-level DSLR around 10 years old. It was time for an upgrade. This camera is compact but packs a big punch. I'm amazed by how much you can customize through the settings. Taking some time looking through the menus and exploring the settings before you take it out makes a world of difference. I also took some time to create my own custom film sims which makes shooting so much fun and creative. I practice film photography and having this digital option with somewhat traditional dials complements my film practice perfectly. 5 |

My shoulder appreciates the lighter camera. This is my second Sony mirrorless camera. It was easy to learn the settings. 5 |

So far this has done an awesome job on pics!!! I got this camera as my first mirrorless and I am not disappointed. I have not tried to record with it yet so I am not sure of the jitter issues I heard can happen with focus tracking. Panasonic did release a firmware update on 11/16 to correct. The menus are easy to work with and customization is fantastic. There are 2 custom settings on the main drive dial and the second one will allow for 3 setting. That's 4 total settings to switch too. I am looking forward to working with this camera and combining it with my Nikon d7200 lense with the 4/3 to F mount adaptor. This camera is making for a nice combo with the D7200. 5 |

If you are looking for a Mirrorless Camera without spending over 2,000 this is a great option. The photos it takes are amazing and I love the custom user settings that can be programed to automatically go to any settings you choose, I use one for HDR and the other for Auto Bracketing exposure in Aperture Priority Mode. 5 |

I am an hobbyist photographer focusing on landscape, macro and architecture. The Sony mirrorless A6000 is a great on the go camera, which complements my DSLR. Great in low light, easy to use and lightweight. I am looking forward to taking many great photos with this camera. 5 |

I was nikon shooter before and mainly did landscape photography. I was contemplating for moving to mirrorless system from sometimes. After much research, I found Sony a7iv to meet all of my photography need and still keep some room for learning new skills like videography. I happy to say I did this decision. The images coming from this camera are top notch and high iso performance blew my mind away. Auto focus is something I haven't seen before. It surprised me how quickly it focus. I think i will be new Sony alpha fan boy from now. Fully recommend this camera. Also, B&H service is amazing. 5 |

The camera is used for filming a host of settings such as stills (Landscape, flowers, rivers, creeks, mountains etc ).. Timelapse is a breeze on this camera and upgrading the file from 1080 FHD to 4K is super. If you take your time with the camera you will come away with some nice results. This item seems to cater to those who don’t want to fuss around with lenses and prefer just having everything included. The camera does really well on a Tripod for waterfalls/ND Filter, Time Lapse Videos, Videos in 4K and 1080p. Long exposure if fine on this camera if you have the right settings, a sturdy tripod with fluid head mount, ND filter for those super waterfalls and water/clouds shots. The ease of use with this device is awesome and people just need to be fair in using it. It is not like our phones and it needs to be used accordingly. The Macro Mode is super and the DOF is really nice at F2.8 on subjects like flowers, butterflies, ladybugs, slow moving insects, moss, lichen, static subjects. This is the go to camera where you keep your SLR / Mirrorless in the backpack, as a back up and have this out for capturing everything mindset. From Street Photography, to Landscape to Wildlife to National Parks to Fireworks to phenomenal sunsets to Macro to those super Roses in the Spring. I had the older Version for 2 years working at the Grand Canyon and Glacier National Park and came away with some nice files. The fact that it shoots RAW and JPEG is super. There are just a few things I am hoping the FZ1000iii will have and they are - 20mm more reach - weatherized body - more MPs - F16 instead of F11 - better location for SD Card Slot - M4/3 Sensor Just a few requests for Panasonic lol All in all I would recommend this camera to anyone who needs either a backup camera, a fun grab and go camera, a device for someone who is just getting into photography etc. Thank you B&H for providing New FZ1000ii’s. 5 |

I normally use my D850 and D4s on all my landscape and wildlife adventures. I wanted a camera to carry and keep handy at all times around my property and travels in the car and not have to change lenses all the time to fit the situation. The P1000 bridges that need and serves its purpose exceeding my expectations. It is fast to get into use and the results are exceptional with very sharp images. I have full control over all my settings. I love the fact that you can see all your shooting settings in the view finder or the tilt screen. The exposure compensation in aperture priority is fast and easy to use with the viewable histogram for perfect exposures. I cannot praise this camera enough for my intended use. Its capabilities constantly impressed me. I highly recommend this camera for anyone looking for a workhorse camera working from wide angle to incredible super zoom optics that does not want to be interchanging lenses. Well done Nikon! 5 |

As a supplement to my DSLR system, this is a great, powerful little workhorse mirrorless. It was an easy adjustment to the FUJI system for me not having used it before and the pictures are sharp, fast and the size has already made it more likely for me to carry it places where I might leave the DSLR at home. It's also a lot of fun to use. The manual settings are easy but the auto settings are really robust. 5 |
