Mirrorless Camera With High Iso

I was using the Canon 5D Mark IV bodies for a few years and absolutely loved them and had no intentions of switching over to mirrorless. I'm a full time wedding photographer and I specialize in all natural lighting. One day I photographed a wedding on my Mark IV, and my second photographer used a brand new mirrorless camera and played up her ISO even as high as 64,000 at the reception. I edited her photos next to mine and was absolutely blown away. I ordered this camera the next day to try out, fully thinking I may send back if I didn't like it. I LOVED IT. The ability to use an ISO so high at a wedding reception at night is SO useful to me that that alone was worth the switch. 5 |

This is the third camera in my household. I have used Nikon DSLR and Sony mirrorless but my wife wanted a small size camera for taking baby and dog pics with good portability. As you know, they move fast in everywhere. This camera is good enough to capture good images under not only outside daylight but also inside fluorescent light with bright lens and high ISO. Based on my opinion, ISO up to 2000 makes very acceptable results without much noise. I have loved using my Nikorr and Zeiss lenses but this pocket sized camera is also very good one for carrying everywhere even with a lot of baby stuffs. This will be beyond your expectations as a point-and-shoot camera. Only cons that I can pick is probably battery doesn't last very long so you'd better keep extra battery in case more than 1 night trip. 5 |

Small, light, full of features. High ISO (12800), anti-shake, 720i video. I use it mostly for astro-photography, where the high ISO comes in handy. I saw a review on ...that showed the K-x versus Canon's and Nikon's high ISO products. The K-x images won without question. I love the fact that Pentax is the ONLY camera manufacturer that kept its old non-AF, non-Digital lens mount, which means I can use my old Pentax-M fully manual lenses with this camera (albeit I am required to use the Green button (set to Optical Preview) to meter the scene - it is no harder than using the meter in the normal way. This is one beautiful camera! 5 |

After having long since outgrown my starter camera, an entry-level Canon SLR I bought in college, I took the leap with my first foray into owning a true professional's camera. A month and a half in, and I'm glad I did-the X-T3 is a delight. Having ISO, shutter speed, exposure comp, and aperture (on most lenses) immediately available for adjustment without menu diving or holding down context keys is an absolute game-changer, making me feel more directly connected to all my of my exposure decisions. I've developed a habit of starting to dial in settings as I walk into position for a shot, before I even turn my camera on, the immediacy and tactility giving me a headstart. Paired with the 18-55 kit lens, it may be a while before I even feel the need to spend more on glass, with sharpness and color reproduction being excellent even wide open. Autofocus is super quick, more than enough to keep up with my high-energy pets (make sure you install the 4.0 firmware update for a huge performance increase here). Compared to the X-T4, the biggest shortcoming here is the lack of IBIS, but I don't think folks beyond full-time videographers will miss it much; with a stabilized lens and the X-T3's already-great high-ISO performance, I've had no issues in low-light situations for stills. Pair this all with the aesthetic-it's just a pretty camera to look at and carry around-and I've had a really hard time just letting it sit on my desk when I'm not shooting. 5 |

I purchased this camera for low light conditions and I am not disappointed. The high ISO performance is fantastic. A lot better than my D850. I do not see a benefit in weight reduction due to the need for the adapter. The camera can utilize all my Nikkor lenses which is a game changer for me. I am very happy with it. 5 |

Is my second D500, i bought again because it has a fast autofocus, low noise at high iso shots. When you shot birds in natural conditions this two parameters are fundamentals combined with high continuous shooting rate. The D500 is a robust camera. I thing that is the best camera for birders. With my Nikkor 500 f 5.6 PF is perfect. I will wait (one or two years?), for a new Nikon mirrorless DX camera with 24 or 32 Megapixels with similar noise performance than D500. 5 |

I own a Canon 1Ds Mark II, and this new 5D Mark IV definitely is a step up in the following areas: 1. Automatic sensor cleaning 2. increased ISO range, for in door shooting. This is more useful than I first expected, because for a high pixel camera at this level, any camera shake would show, so the shutter speed will need to be high, and having an increased ISO range with low noise capture would provide the flexibility 3. high resolution, almost to the level of medium format 4. higher color saturation and contract right out of the RAW file capture. The image I shoot with 1Ds Mark II were soft and flat, and needs quite a bit of post adjustments. With 5D Mark IV, the original image is already sharp, with very good contrast and color saturation, so I usually do not even need to do much post adjustments. 5. Touch screen LCD screen makes it much easier to view and zoom in for played back images. 5 |

I went from a 6D to an R and was blown away by the upgrades. The autofocus, the bursting, the high ISO capabilities... I didn't think it could get much better. Then, I tried the R6 Mark II and was blown away again. I'm a concert photographer, so I need speed, high ISO and now decent video capabilities. You get that with this camera. Bursting is more than enough, even on mechanical shutter (Electronic is maybe too fast for my needs, but sometimes I used it. There's hardly any sign of rolling shutter). Anything shot above ISO 12800 is usable even without denoising. With denoising in post (I personally use DxO PureRaw) I can shoot at ISO 51200 and get a clean photo. The dynamic range at higher ISOs is MUCH better than the R (which was much better than the 6D). The photos are just more 'punchy' straight out of the camera. It has sped up my post workflow tremendously. There's no more cropping when shooting 4k video! I can finally shoot FF without an external recorder. 4k 120fps is more than enough for what I need and it's super easy to switch back and forth between photo and video mode with the dedicated switch (you still have the record button for shooting video while in still mode, but I like the switch so it remembers my M video settings). Another plus is even though it ships with, and suggests, using the new LP-E6NH batteries, the old LP-E6 batteries still work. I can still get through an entire show (~ 3 hours and 1,400 photos) on an old LP-E6. Are there 'better' Canon R-line cameras available right now? Sure. But this price point to feature ratio is unbeatable right now. The only reason I could see ever getting another body would be for more video features, but those aren't things I need at the moment. This will cover almost every still shooters video needs. 5 |

Love this camera. Great for night football photos. Not a single complaint. The high ISO adjustment is fantastic. I highly recommend it. 5 |
