During the several vertical shots of pano, this ring helps me to handle so efficiently the camera. I have a 5D Mark III with 70-200 F/4 IS USM lens.With this ring, I can easily manage and balace the lens.

I use this with my RRS pano head for positioning camera with lens at non-parallax point for multi-shot and multi-row panos. Performs as well as higher-priced brands. Seems like it would be hard to screw up a rail on a CNC machine.

Excellent for spherical panos. With a full frame camera you can capture a full pano in only 3 shots. With a crop sensor 5 shots are needed. The clarity of this lens is superb. For batch stitching and HDR panos this is an excellent lens as it produces repeatable results. On a full frame camera I prefer a 10-10.5mm, but this lens functions beautifully.

Have had a Manfrotto pano head for many years. It can pan on the lens node with the camera in either vertical or horizontal orientation. Problem is that it only pans one row. The Nodal Ninja 6 is big and strong enough to handle my Canon 5D Mk IV with the battery grip attached. This allows battery changes without having to dismount it from the pano head, and of course, the battery grip greatly extends runtime per charge. The NN6 parts are very well made, and it comes with more gizmos and gadgets than I know what to do with. Some of them are for compatibility with future planned auto/motor devices. Very happy with this device. Now just need more time and locations to use it.

This mini-clamp on the slide very much simplifies the orientation of my camera onto the Pano Unit since it rotates. Plate fits release clamp and slides easily on clamp. Using it with RRS PG-01 in place of included slide.
