This lens can be used for travel where bulk is an issue, inside, outside for landscape, etc everywhere! I have missed many a picture while switching between 28-135 to 10-22 or to 70-200. It is great to have the entire range in one lens. It is heavy but all I need to do is purchase a new shoulder strap. I am very pleased with the sharpness of the pictures even without using the IS selector of the lens. The color correctness is also very impressive compared to conventional Canon lens. If you want great technical photos the weight and the price should not stop you from purchasing this outstanding very sturdy cascade of superior glass and lightning fast focus. I don't know how I missed this when first announced. I had avoided beauty dishes due to storage and transport issues. The Chimera Octa 2 Collapsible Beauty Dish solves that problem cleanly and cleverly. I appreciated the high degree of build quality and materials in the collapsible lighting control. Internal baffle eliminates hot spot but can be removed for greater control. Lots of options with removable front screen and optional egg-crate grid. The real value is how compact the Octa 2 folds into carry pouch.

I have to admit that I was a little worried about investing in a control surface with all of the many choices that are available. I missed out on the C24 and finally came to the point of seriously needing a trusted control surface to help my work flow in my home studio. Mackie is the brand that we all know plus I have owned several of the old analog boards throughout my journey. Pro Tools and UAD hardware are my tools of choice. The MCU Pro solved my tracking and mixing needs and is the perfect bridge to my creativity. It requires a learning curve at first but once you get to know the controller and how it works it is an invaluable tool. 100 percent satisfied with my choice and financial investment for my studio. Definitely wish I had done this sooner.

It's much cheaper than the OEM one but works great, never missed a fire. I use this to control Speedlite 600EXII-RT, 430EXIII-RT, and an old 430EX paired with Yongnuo YNE3-RX. All work well. This setup makes both new and old Speedlite flashes usable and saves tons of money.

I have had 2 of the order 20mm in the past and they were great. After getting the new GX7 I realized I missed the 20mm so sold the kit lens ( very good lens ) in favor of the smaller silver 20mm. It matches the camera it makes the camera smaller and It will fit the leather case thats on my wish list.
