Mission Oak Executive Desk

Very large, more for an executive style desk that is more than 3ft deep

I built a desk out of 1 1/2" thick oak and a pair of oak filing cabinets but the keyboard and mouse height were causing pain in my right shoulder and I thought it might be due to the height and location of the keyboard and mouse. I installed the drawer this morning and worked all day without pain! This did what I needed and it's pretty sturdy.

I wanted this stool so I could get rid of the big executive chair I sit at my desk in. In a video shot, or still image, the chair itself takes up too much space. The stool telescopes to the desired height effortlessly.

Mission accomplished! These stands have enabled me to position my desk closer to the wall to maximize my space. A couple of previous stands were also solid but had larger footprints with their centered columns. These off-set columns have gifted a couple of extra inches. They are exactly as described and set-up was done by myself with minor effort. Vertical set-up simple and seamless. Llooking forward to the arrival of the horizontal plates (on order). Well pleased with these and have no complaints. Future engineering brainstorming could take these further with an internal tube for easy toe-in positioning. The single column design involves moving the entire stand which can be cumbersome to workaround table base legs. Adjustments would also be further tweaked by the addition of a 2-piece slider plate system or bracket attachment at the monitor.

Just works. Mission accomplished.
