For any sync recording from camera to the Sound Devices 552, this is the best cable, and most reasonably priced time code cable I have seen for the Sound Devices 552 mixer/recorder. This cable connects to a BNC cable from the camera via a BNC barrel connector (also needed unless you have a BNC male to female type cable). The price is hard to beat, and you will need this and a most likely a barrel connector, & BNC cable to get time code from the camera. With Mp3 recording, and other external or backup recording now commonly used, having a time code synced recording capability as a sound mixer/sound recordist is a must.
