Love how you can control everything through the app and view what device is connected changing the name and password is super easy! And the internet speed runs great high download and low ping! Definitely recommend

Reading the other reviews it seems many have issues getting this to work. I had ZERO issues... Go to the blackmagic website and get the latest version of the software and install it. power off, install card, power on... Done. Run the configuration app to change your settings to match your input/output sources and then launch the DesktopVideo app to start capturing. I used this to capture some old VHS footage without a timebase corrector, so as I expected, really unstable footage was not able to be captured but it was a small percentage. Keep this in mind if you are looking to capture old VHS/8mm. As other reviews stated, the file sizes are huge when capturing, but with contemporary large drives this is not really an issue. Once you compress down the files, a 40GB Vhs capture can be H264 compressed down to about a 700MB Mp4. I also edit with Premiere Pro and use the HDMI out to a standard LED TV to preview what my output will look like on standard display. Quality is good and had no issues. Overall I think the Intensity Pro 4K performs as advertised. Simple install, Ease of use and great quality captures makes this a great purchase.

Works great and the only thing I had to set up was the option to have a password to protect it if someone else tries to use it.

If you lose the spotlight password, the instructions do not tell you how to reset the password

I was on the fence with actually buying Lume products do to all the mixed reviews out there. For me, it's compact, durable for travel and puts out some serious light. The new version of the app can use some tweaks, but works great. 9 times out of 10 this light is stuck somewhere I can't reach or don't want to risk moving; the app has made those situations easier. I hope down the road they adjust the app to let you name the lights so you know which is which.
