I’ve been streaming live events now for 2 years and this is just what I’ve looked for. I bought one and tested thoroughly with several configurations and they all worked flawlessly. I tried two cell connections via 2 Mofi 4500 modems with AT&T sim and T-Mobile sim. In one test I connected one Mofi via Ethernet connection and the other via WiFi. In the middle of streaming I physically unplugged the Ethernet cable leaving only the WiFi active. It continued streaming at 1080p with barely a hickup. I say “barely” because there was a very slight glitch in the video but other than that — flawless. Wow. I’m was impressed enough that I bought a 2nd LiveU for carrying on my hip and shooting with a single camera for run-and-gun. The cellular bonding technology is amazing and just what I’ve needed. I have not tried it in the field yet but am confident it will do the job for me. 5 |
