Mobile Laptop Computer Workstation

Customized use of this tripod; it supports a 12x20 platform for my laptop as a mobile workstation, while I'm constantly moving, measuring, and drawing existing building plans. The 2 way head is tightened in a fixed position, and holds level very well despite occasional bumps. The leg clamps hold well and don't slide even with much lifting and setting. The legs spread and close together smoothly. The rubber feet are large with good floor grip, with a smart detail of twisting upward to reveal sharp pegs for rough terrain hold. Extremely satisfied and happy with this product.

I have bought a new laptop workstation with a 500GB HHD , To me this is the economical way because SSDs can be purchased at one third the cost of the upgraded from the computer manufacture. I trust the Samsung SSDs for this upgrade as I have used different models of Samsung SSDs in the past . I have never had an issue with their drive so I have purchased a 250gb mStata and a 250 gb Stata to upgrade my new computer. I also purchase an 850 Pro to upgrade my six year old Dell M4800. I do recommend Samsung SSDs as well as their RAM memory.

Wanted something rugged for a 17 HP mobile workstation but the 1490 is a bit too small. For a large form factor notebook you're better off with the 1495. But this is a great product -- very rugged and a perfect way to schlepp a 15 notebook in a trunk or the back of an SUV.

I got this to carry my HP ZBook Power 15.6 inch G9 Mobile Workstation. It fits inside perfectly and the extra zipper compartment carries all of my accessories. I like that it has waterproof section to carry drinks , food, etc. It looks professional and cool. It's light weight and comfortable.

I've only used this for the past three months but it has taken so much effort off my back for film shoots and doubles as a great mobile workstation. You can pack it up with the handles and crossbars still built, and then setup time comes down from 5 minutes to about 3 minutes. Speeds you up and saves you energy for those long shoot days.
