Mobile Phone Usb Flash Drive

The UNVR is surprisingly fast at loading up videos, scrolling through video, etc. Even with 8 G4 cameras (5 G4 Pros, 3 G4 Bullets). Setup was a breeze. The thing I don't like about this is the Protect mobile app can't discover it if it's on its own VLAN. I don't think a camera network -- particularly exterior cameras -- should be on a native network. I have it set so that only certain MAC addresses are authenticated on my camera VLAN (the cameras, UNVR, some Android tablets that I use as mobile camera viewers, and my Viewports). Our iPhones/iPads have to connect remotely since you can't specify an IP address (it relies 100% on discovery). Since UI doesn't implement mDNS reflection on all VLAN's correctly, it won't be discoverable. I'm thinking of using the RJ45 connection to my main LAN while the SFP+ is on my camera VLAN. There has been some discussion about failures due to a generic USB flash drive that was utilized for OS storage. The UNVR-Pro has eMMC flash memory instead of a USB flash drive. I can confirm that with newer versions (board revision 38 for me), the generic USB flash drive is gone. I'm guessing it's an eMMC memory module that's in its place.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I purchased the USB Flash Drive 3 month ago as my phone ran out of memory due to my photos. Love taking photo, so i needed a portable storage to download all my pictures and be able to take with me without being bulky and this was perfect for my needs, glad I purchased this USB Flash Drive.

Update can be done without old CPU with USB flash drive only.

We are using a flash drive to store and playback videos on a portable projector. I tried with a USB 3.0 Flash Drive, thinking the newer version was better. But the projector had a different idea. I learned from the professionals at B+H that this unit requires an older USB 2.0 Flash Drive. I never would have thought of that but sure enough, when I used this Verbatim 64G Ergo USB 2.0, the projector recognized the videos and played them flawlessly.

I use this hub continuously and during several years, it works perfectly for me. I can charge a mobile phone with the USB ports, maybe not super-fast but it charges nonetheless. It has a power supply but that´s only necessary if charging something, to just plug in standard mouse and keyboard peripherals it´s not necessary, so you can travel without it. I am very satisfied with all StarTech products including this one.

I know a case is a minor thing, but I really like this case. I use it with a G-Technology G-Drive Mobile USB Portable Hard Drive and it fits perfectly, with a place for the cable in the lid. It's semi-rigid, so it provides a measure of security to the drive as well.

This LaCie 5TB USB 3.2 Mobile Drive weighs less than the LaCie 5TB USB 3.1 one (335 vs 265 grams), although the 3.1 feels more solid. There is almost no noticeable difference in transfer speed between one and the other. I like its elegant design. I recommend it.
