My occupation is to record live musical events, and of late, mostly live-streamed. I've used several brands and models of wireless microphones over the years, but purchased the Sony URX Dual Channel receiver kit for the ease at which it can be used with a variety of Sony cameras, including the A7 models and FS5 cinematic camera. A digital connection, without wires, is something to rejoice. I bought the UTX-M40 microphone almost as an afterthought, to accommodate vocal and narrative elements for salon concerts. It was easy to set up and works perfectly. I have used plug-on transmitters before, but the dedicated wireless mic is lighter and more compact, which makes it more comfortable for the talent to use.

The inclusion of the wireless feature of the previous models as standard is a wise move. It makes the tablet much more mobile and useful. Wacom is the standard in drawing tablets, and this is a great size for just about everything.

Plug and play, very easy, nothing to install. Works as intended so far (few weeks of daily use for work). We have 2 in my household now, both for work on our Lenovo work-issued laptops. Two different models, both were on the compatible list. Using them for dual monitors, wireless keyboard, and wireless mouse. Not all models can do the power through the single connection so on one of our computers we have to plug in the separate power cord. Not a huge deal, though. Just happy to have the other stuff working properly through a single connection!

I've been looking to purchase earsets for our wireless system but it has never been in the budget and cheaper models did not hold. These seem to be a higher quality cabling than most others and are more affordable than Countrymen.

I've upgraded my wireless mic lavalieres to DPA 4061's. On a recent shoot my wireless transmitters--which were fine during set-up--failed minutes before a two person interview. The following week I ordered several DPA XLR adapters to serve as a safety net so I could wire the 4061 lavalieres directly to the mixer. I'm now in the habit of using these XLR adapters on a regular basis unless if there's a wide shot where the cables might show. Peace of mind . . . well worth the price.
