Modern Camera Backpacks

After trying a total of six different modern backpacks/slings for everyday carry, I unexpectedly found myself thinking maybe I should try Domke. The modern bunch are nice in many ways, but what they suffer from, for me at least, it really quick access to your stuff. Sure, a sling is quick, but most of the time it's too darn small. Did I really want to go back a carry style I first used years ago when schlepping 35mm SLRs? Not really. But then I saw a photojournalist using an F2 and I realized there's a reason why folks in the news business have used Domke for decades. So, I ordered one. I don't regret it. No dismounting a backpack; no getting on hands and knees to search for that hidden compartment. Everything is right there on my shoulder, within easy reach. And with the 2-inch, non-slide shoulder strap, it's surprisingly comfortable. And it's built like a tank. Is it perfect? No, but it has taken center stage in my carry bag collection.

Honestly this is a really expensive camera bag. I have use at least 5-6 different backpacks and this is the best one so far!

I just love these little backpacks for my batteries!!!!! They are perfect and I can always find my batteries rather than trying to find them in my camera bag.

Makes carrying PD backpacks that much better, even with 40 pounds of camera gear

Used to having military backpacks with additional camera set up in it, I was always quite short on space with my daily backpack. Finally decided to try and find a real camera backpack, I had a look at a lot of brands, and a lot of YouTube reviews...Of all the backpacks I’ve checked, the Wandrd Prvke Lite caught my eye... That thing has style !!Once received, I had high expectations with all the great reviews I saw. One thing is sure, after a week of every day use, I have absolutely no regret ! My E-M1 Mark III with my 45mm lens fits perfectly, and I can easily add an additional 12-40mm as well as a 40-150mm and a battery grip ! All of it perfectly set !The easy access on the side, the back access helping to change lenses, the small pocket on the top... everything is just perfect the way it is ! (Not even speaking of all the great features... ). I personally went for the black version and added the orange straps... and I absolutely love it !!If you’re still hesitating, stop. It's the bomb!! I have camera shoulder bags, sling bags, backpacks....none come close to this one. It will hold my Nikon D810 with nikkor 200-500mm f5.6 attached plus two other lenses and D750 body plus 15 laptop and a few accessories, and, of course, IT ROLLS.The best part is I live in a small city where airline service is only provided by CRJs and ERJs. This fully packed bag will fit in the overhead compartment of the small ERJ145! You could conceivably put it under the seat ahead but it's a bit long to be considered 'fully under' it.Like all Think Tank bags, this one is built to last.I couldn't be happier with it.

Modern technology at its finest!

I've been looking at backpacks for 6 months and never seem to find the best one for my needs but this one is it!

Many of these backpacks with features that allow easy access to the camera without taking the bag off are just gimmicks (learned the hard way). This one is not a gimmick, it actually works! Very satisfied. Very comfortable to wear as well.
