Modern Executive Desk With Flared Legs

Very large, more for an executive style desk that is more than 3ft deep

I wanted this stool so I could get rid of the big executive chair I sit at my desk in. In a video shot, or still image, the chair itself takes up too much space. The stool telescopes to the desired height effortlessly.

I use this on my telephoto lens for my Canon G1X. Flared out enough to keep the sun out of the barrel.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Unboxing is easy and was accomplished in less than 10 mins. The parts are organized and the main printer is well protected and secure. Assembly is pretty straight forward from the app which was easy to follow. Be careful with screwing the bolts and ensure you don't drop them as you're screwing in the legs upside down. After the legs and supports are screwed in place, it is best to have 2 people to flip the printer to the proper upright position. The sleak modern exterior look is an attractive piece for a modern office setting. The capabilities of this printer are advanced. From the mobile printing to the letter size paper tray, these are some of the unique features from the prior design jet I have used (Designjet 1050).  The colored ink print quality is pretty sharp and the print rate is significantly faster especially for black and white than prior designjets. I would say all in all it is a high end, large format printer for engineering and graphic printing use. The price is definitely worth it.

This desk really surprised me! It has a very modern and sleek finish, large desk space on the top, and clutter free design. The only recommendation I have is tighten the biggest screws on the bottom of the base really well. If you dont and put heavy things on the top shelf, it will tilt back a little.

Nice blue for some executive portraits

With an inexpensive tube cutter and 5/32 allen wrench you can easily disassemble, cut down, and reassemble this stand extension to make it shorter. It also helps to have a small file for removing any burs. You simply have to cut a uniform amount off of each tube section. Unfortunately, you will have to cut off the flared end on the smallest tube which prevents it from being over extended, yet the flared ends for all other tube sections can be left intact by simply cutting the opposite non-flared ends. In my case I needed to mount a teleprompter approximately 17 inches plus or minus a few inches above the top of a sit stand desk, and could not find an appropriate tripod after a great deal of searching. All the tripods were either too tall, too short, were not adjustable within the range needed, or couldn't handle the weight. A combination of an 18 round board from Home Depot, a Mathews mounting plate with a 5/8 receiver, a Manfrotto 208 3/8 head mounting plate, and the modified Matthews telescopic baby stand extension did the trick. I ended up shortening the stand extension twice, as I didn't cut enough off the first time. My decision to attach the mounting plate with bolts and washers required a slight countersink on the underside of the board to make room for them. Wood screws might have been just as secure, and would certainly have been quicker.

This magnet is extremely strong. I guess some people use it to attach to a car, but I'm just using it to attach lights to my desk legs and file cabinets and in that capacity it's hard to imagine it coming off unless something very heavy was placed on it, or you used a very long lever arm.
