In 1969 I saw a solid-body electric guitar with a three-inch amplifier built into the face of the guitar. The tiny speaker was powered by a nine-volt battery inserted in the back of the instrument. Fantastic, I thought, why don't they make a suction-cup amp that sticks onto the face of the guitar? A zillion years later they did and it is fine. 5 |

I am mostly a video shooter and also own the 35mm 1.4, which I love, I was expecting this lens to have the same character/vibe/mojo as the 35, but it is a much 'cleaner' look, I don't know the technical way to describe this but it looks spectacular. I'll continue to use both, the silent LM autofocus in the 33 is much better for video AF. 5 |
