Best tool in my repertoire. I'm the classiest guy in my beer bottle drinking group. 5 |

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I filter my drinking water, my shower head water and of course the air in my house . I began using a Molekule air filter in my house during the local fires here in 2017 . Molekule has such a clean design, that I don’t mind looking at it every day. 5 |

Just used it in an airport shoot. No trip hazard so battery power was needed. Ive had Blackline traditional HEAVY power pack for awhile (2401A). To be honest it was gathering dust since I've moved to Canon 600ez-rt speedlights. The need for real power lights are less and less in this clean-high-iso-camera era that doesn't need the nuclear blast of a 45 lbs of 80's American engineering encased in heavy steel. But when you do need some portable powerhorses there are the newer kids in the block like Profoto, Hensel.... I was about to starve and give up drinking for few months so I can afford these hipster Euro units but this Digital Explorer came to rescue. Since I've had some black line heads I bought this wonderful workhorse. I was impressed with this unit. the consistency of output, the sturdy workmanship, the well thoughout case. The power is enough to go through big softboxes, 7 ft umbrellas or the like. The bad: You can only do 1:1 ratio or 1:2 ratio. The variable knob adjusts both lights at the same time. you can't adjust them separately . Black line users are used to this but the lack of other ratio makes it less flexible. But honestly, I think most will use to this to power just one head with a modifier. So its not that bad. The other bad. The menu system is horrible. its like trying to program your 90's VCR. But once you get used to it, it only takes a few minutes to check the battery level... sheesh. Its powerful, the flash duration is pretty fast (on 103's) battery life is not too bad and best of all you don't need to starve or give up drinking to buy one of these things! 5 |

Excellent value. I went to an evening picnic and at twilight I could almost determine which beaujolais my friends were drinking - about 270 yds away(laser range finder) Had I not been at 1600 ISO (Nikon D300) I could have sworn I would have figured out the label (200x magnification). You will need a tripod because it was wide open for about 45 sec. This compared favorably with the 300mm F2.8 which faired better on the people but I could not get the bottle because they must have finished it since it was no longer in the picture. I was impressed nonetheless. 5 |

I bought the B4000 for stand by power and I used my it to power my camper and it worked flawless, and had enough power to rum the A/C. I was impressed that the charge was still full after sitting through the winter. 5 |

This little guy is AMAZING! You can use it as an audio interface for your mac/pc, you can rum phantom power to condensers. The only slight problem is that it does not come with a power plug for the wall, but you can pick one up at a local store for under $ or $. It also does not include the microphone holder to allow you to put it on a microphone stand, but B&H has those as well. This was, for me, an upgrade from the Zoom H4N and it was worth every penny. I saw one reviewer lament the screen functionality, but I cannot see any problems with the menu/interface. It is intuitive and easy to use. You'll love this thing! It also doesn't seem to be quite as much of a power hog as the H4n (although this one has 4 AA batteries whereas the H4n has 2). 5 |
