These are the monitors for a Studio One DAW via Firepod - plus standard HP for audio out. XNLT sound quality for the price! All-star service from B&H as usual. 5 |

22 years ago an audio rep at B&H helped me build my first recording studio. I didn't know enough then to realize how stellar the recommendations that were made were. In early 2022 I decided to do an entire upgrade to my studio, from computers to software etc. One of the original recommendations for monitors were the original Mackie HR824's. They are used as near field monitors. One of the amps on one monitor blew out. So I found my self on a search. I went through the usual suspects. Almost went for the Yamaha's but at the end of the day, i purchased 2 brand new Mackie HR8242. I can't believe they are even better than the originals. Clean, crisp, and flat, every mix sounds as its supposed to, in the studio, on my beats, in my car, on the phone, and on the web. They really are just spectacular monitors. Well worth the price of admission without a doubt. 5 |

The best studio monitors at this price level, PERIOD. They produce sound accurately and clearly for film and music production. The response is flat enough where it counts and they combo as great speakers for enjoying any kind of entertainment partnered with a sub. I use them every day, and I couldnt be happier. Ive used plenty of monitors, and these are my go tos at my home studio and at the office. HOW THEY COMPARE They arent as clear and flat as the Yamaha HS5s but they have much clearer lows and mids, lacking that tinny quality and sound more accurate to how people enjoy entertainment without sacrificing clarity. They arent as bass heavy KRK Rokit 5G3s, but they also arent as muddy as the KRK Rokit 5G3s and have a much clearer treble response. They kill the M-Audio BX8s in every single way—the BX8s are muddy, dull, and hard to listen through. Terrible, really, do not buy M-Audio for accurate audio, and Id say the same thing for the Mackie CR4s. The Presonus Eris E8s just arent it either. The only opponent Id say these have are the Adam Audio A7Xs, which have a much lower bass frequency response and a much more accurate high response, and are just the best monitors Ive ever used all around. The thing is, the Adam Audio A7Xs are $750 EACH. You can often pick these up for less than $250 a pair. So just do it. Buy the LSR305Ps now. Save up. These are the speakers youve always wanted and youve never heard anything like them. What are you even waiting for? 5 |

I didn't have a ton of money to spend on new studio monitors but after extensive research I decided the Behringer Ms16's would work okay. I got them installed today and had some time to run them through the rigors of audio / video production. Excellent flat response and delivery of authentic audio. Much better than I expected and heavy. Solid build. It's good to have good audio again. These should last a long time and deliver quality audio for my multimedia productions! 5 |

I've owned one of these monitors for several months now and now purchased a 2nd and 3rd to use in a studio with JVC cameras. The one I've had I use with my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera in a studio and on location. It adds bulk, which if that's something that matters you may want to look at SmallHD. The other option would be using a monitor/recorder combo like the ones Atomos makes. I only needed a way to monitor my camera with the ability to check focus with peaking as well as see exposure with histogram and false color. This monitor has all those features that years ago weren't available for under $$or more. The only question is how accurate is the color of the LCD. I'll use it to check skin tones, but if McDonalds hires me to shoot a commercial I'm not going to rely on it to check the color of the golden arches. In the end, I would say this is a great monitor to use until you're ready to buy something from SmallHD or Atomos. 5 |

I do many presentations from my home office and require high quality audio during these presentations. I tie this lav into an audio interface and monitor with studio monitors within 2' of the mic, even with high gain and the omni directional pickup I don't get any feedback from the monitors. This mic a full body frequency response. The length of cable is great for vlogging rigs. cons: when plugged into a mobile device, you can't monitor audio or use for video calls, only recording. The high frequency is a little bit lacking, loosing some clarity I am looking for in my recordings. 5 |

I have use a variety of approaches to monitor 3 cameras and a computer driven slide show at a production bench. I considered all the the multiview monitors but never pulled the trigger because of price. I have a few 24 TV's lying around from different studio and computer builds. This added to one of those TV's is my current go to production monitor. A word of advice, use a TV not a computer monitor. Computer monitors may not support the resolution you are feeding from a camera or passing through an on camera recorder. The pile of surplus TV monitors now has a few computers monitor in the stack. The beauty of this device is a display of 4 inputs that can switch quickly via a remote to 1 input only. Which can then be scrolled from input to input. Attach a headphone to the TV and you can also monitor the audio on that input channel. Or in the split screen mode, you can select which audio feed you want to monitor with the remote. My 4 channel audio switch is no longer on the bench. If you get really creative, add a bluetooth transmitter to the headphone jack and you can wander around your studio with bluetooth headphones monitoring sound. If you are running the original ATEM mini which lacks a preview view, this lets you see a 4 input preview. You will need a splitter on each input with outputs to both this switch and the ATEM mini. Or just buy the ATEM Mini Pro and you will have a 4 channel preview device with a lot less wires. 5 |
