[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Viewfinity S50GC Ultra WQHD Monitor is a fantastic choice for anyone who requires a large, high-resolution display. The 34-inch screen boasts a resolution of 3440 x 1440 pixels, which provides an incredibly sharp, detailed image. The ultra-wide aspect ratio also makes it perfect for those who require multiple windows open at the same time. The monitor's design is sleek and minimalist, with narrow bezels that give the impression of a larger display. It is built using high-quality materials, and the stand is sturdy and adjustable, allowing for easy customization of the viewing angle. The S50GC uses IPS panel technology, which provides excellent color accuracy and wide viewing angles. The monitor also has a fast refresh rate of 100Hz, which minimizes motion blur and screen tearing. The monitor also features AMD FreeSync which ensures that the display refresh rate is synchronized with the output of your graphics card. This results in a smoother and more fluid gaming experience. In terms of connectivity, the monitor offers a range of options including DisplayPort, HDMI, and USB-C. The USB-C port also provides Power Delivery, meaning you can charge your laptop or other devices while using the monitor. Overall, the 34” Viewfinity S50GC Ultra WQHD Monitor is an excellent choice for anyone who needs a high-resolution display with a large screen size. The combination of the ultra-wide aspect ratio and the IPS panel technology provides an immersive and enjoyable viewing experience.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The next level of gaming has arrived with LG's new miracles 49 inch Extremely Ultra-wide Gaming Monitor. The monitor came nicely packaged with the essential cables to connect this beast of a monitor to my high end Rig. After setting up the monitor and turning it on for the first time, I had to step back as my smile grew as wide as the monitor figuratively speaking. I couldn’t wait but fired up a game of GTA and was amazed how much more I can see within the game. The 240 Hz just made it so buttery smooth playing on this 49inch UltraGear Monitor. As nice as the monitor is for gaming, I also love how much screen real estate I have now. I can multitask like never before with Adobe Photoshop, browsing the internet, Word and so much more. On my old monitor I would have to move apps around in order to adjust for productivity. Now that’s in the past thanks to this extremely Ultra-Wide monitor. I am glad I made this purchase to help utilize it best for multitasking, recreational and so much more.

The Eizo CS2740 wide gamut 4K monitor is an excellent choice for photo editing. Its gamut is stated to be 99% of Adobe RGB (1998), which is ideal for photo editing. The monitor calibration is done with Eizo's ColorNavigator 7 software, which I believe is available for any Eizo CS monitor whether you purchase the EX4 calibration device or not. I did. It appears to be manufactured by Datacolor in that it looks very much like their Spyder X. In fact, the Spyder X is listed in the software manual in a fashion that leads me to believe the two are essentially identical. Quite a few other measurement devices are compatible to ColorNavigator 7, based on the manual. The manual recommends that calibration be performed with the monitor resolution set to 3840x2160. This is the resolution that I use for photo editing. However, it's very easy to change the resolution to 2560x1440 after calibration. I find this setting to b easier on my eyes when working with text. Changing between the two resolutions does not affect the calibration. The monitor and the hood, which is purchased separately, appear to be very well made. Some reviewers have remarked about the plastic construction, but I fail to see this as an issue. Returning to ColorNavigator 7, the software is easy to use. Its manual is 102 pages long. I recommend looking at some of the videos on Eizo's website instead of reading the manual to get up and running quickly. You can use the manual as a reference when you want more details. I replaced an aging NEC PA271W with this Eizo. I was happy with my NEC monitor and SpectraView II, but Sharp/NEC seem to have departed the wide gamut monitor business. ColorNavigator 7 is more powerful than SpectraView II. Knowing this now, I think I would recommend the Eizo monitor over the NEC even if NEC did come out with a new wide gamut display.

I've had the BenQ PD2725U for about a week now, and it is proving to be a great monitor. I am a professional image editor and photographer, so accurate color is of the utmost importance. I am getting more involved in video editing and color grading, so when I was looking for a new monitor I was looking for features that would help me be productive, and this monitor met all of my needs. I took the time to learn the Hotkey Puck G2, and it is very helpful for color calibration and switching color modes of the monitor. I can go from a custom user calibration setting for my image editing, and switch to Rec. 709 for video with the push of a button. Daisy chaining another monitor isn't something that I though I needed, but it does save a port on my hub, and reduces cable clutter. All in all, a great monitor for the money.

This is my first external monitor - always got iMacs before. At first I thought the calibration might be a little off compared to the integrated iMac screens but now my eyes seem to have adjusted. (I may try calibrating it eventually.) This is also my first larger screen and I am loving that! This unit seems like a good value for a dependable 4K screen. No issues so far with the new Mac Mini.

This is an amazing monitor that I purchased with a Spyder Colorimeter. Works great and the screen is superb. Calibration with ColorNavigator 7 software is good.

I bought this particular monitor mostly for use with photography. It has very good gamut coverage, is well made and sports some very useful features. The tech reviews on Eizo monitors are very favorable and the customer reviews are extremely good. The image quality is outstanding. An attractive feature of this monitor is that it comes with a calibration device which is easy to use to keep the monitor in calibration. I also have an NEC monitor that is seven years old and is starting to bleed dark patches along the edges of the screen and has a warm cast to part of the screen to the point where I am no longer able to calibrate it, so I switched monitor brands. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
