The display is excellent. It is simple to assemble, and has all the needed inputs, with effective in-screen speakers. The vertical resolution of 1440 lines is all that's needed for its width, and that is enough to be immersive at arms length. It was shipped in factory packaging and arrived with no issues at all, and working on my desk 15 minutes out of the box. 5 |

Built like a tank. Extremely flexible positioning - up, down. back and forth, swivel vertical to horizontal display. Absolutely solid and firm in place. Not a trace of wobble - anyone who may have found this stand unsteady put it together wrong. I'll be buying a second one. 5 |

I switched to a Mac Studio recently after spending the last 10 years editing video on iMac, and this monitor holds up incredibly well. No, it is not a 5K Retina display. However, it is about $1,000 less expensive than an Apple Display, and after using it for two weeks, I'm not noticing any major differences. The color and the resolution are high quality and very suitable for editing 4K video. This monitor also connects directly to the Mac Studio through a USB-C, and it started right up the first time. (I had read reviews that firmware needed to be updated on the monitor to use the USB-C connection, but I didn't not experience this). The 31.5 display is also a nice upgrade over the 27 iMac - that extra bit of real estate is always welcome. It takes up about the same amount of space on my desk as the iMac did. The matte screen is also great. The Retina Displays were too glossy with too many reflections, whereas this monitor minimizes and soften reflections. I'm very happy with this purchase, and if you're looking for a cost-effective alternative to an Apple Display, I would recommend the Dell Ultrasharp 31.5 4K HDR Monitor. 5 |
