Connecting the ViewFinity S8 to my gaming consoles revealed its capabilities as a competent gaming monitor. Despite its primary focus on professional use, it supports HDR10 and has a 60Hz refresh rate, which provides a pleasing visual experience for gaming. The colors are vivid, and the details are well-defined, although avid gamers might prefer monitors with faster refresh rates specifically designed for gaming. For everyday productivity tasks like word processing and web browsing, the monitor’s large screen allows for effective multitasking. The ability to use split-screen significantly enhances productivity, enabling me to work on documents while monitoring my emails or browsing the web without constantly switching tabs. I don’t do any major work on this CPU. I do some graphic design, gaming on XBOX game pass, and some work. Great overall performance. Graphics struggled a little streaming Starfield with cloud gaming, but still very playable. I had an occasional glitch/lag but that could have also been the stream from XBOX cloud gaming. Everything else has been solid!

This monitor is exactly what I needed in my graphic design work. Text is clear, colors are accurate and there is plenty of screen real estate for using programs like InDesign and Lightroom. For the last few years I've been trying to do design work on my MacBook Pro, built-in display. I'm so glad I finally bought an external display--it has made my workflow so much more efficient. Originally, I ordered the 2K BenQ270c but for some unknown reason (to BenQ and all others I asked) the text was terribly jagged and vector graphics in Illustrator were pixelated. If knew I kept that monitor I was going to have some major eye-strain and would have difficulty doing my job. How can I work with text if everything looks wrong? Did I get a lemon, have a MacBook Pro issue, or was 2K just not enough pixels--I'll never know! Thanks to the great customer service from B&H I was able to return the BenQ and buy the ViewSonic 2785-4K instead, which made all the difference. I had read that 4K monitors caused menu items to be too small to read, and that the extra pixels were unnecessary but that is not the case for me at all. I plugged in the USB-C cable and it immediately displayed at a perfect screen resolution for comfortable reading. My advice to graphic designers is to get a 4K monitor. Your eyes will thank you. I definitely recommend this ViewSonic 2785 4K if color accuracy is important to your job. The Adobe RGB space is perfect for the print work I do. I love this monitor for photo-editing, creating vector artwork and for layout/text work. Some reviewers mentioned that the documentation that comes in the box is not easy to understand, but I found a nice manual online that explained everything in sufficient detail. There are a lot of optional settings on this monitor which I find is a great plus. I wish I had bought this sooner!

Fantastic monitor for my needs doing photo editing and graphic design. Very easy on the eyes. And the price was awesome. I'd recommend BenQ always.

My son was so happy because he loves to play game.We really like the design (the design of the monitor has PlayStation vibes) and I really like the stand as well. The screen looks fantastic for gaming. I love the black and white color scheme of the display and stand. The stand is adjustable up and down. The picture quality and the colors are beautiful and you can really tell a difference in the local dimming. Absolutely stunning gaming monitor. We really enjoyed it.!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Recently, I got the opportunity to test out the LG 29” UltraWide FHD HDR FreeSync Monitor with USB Type C. First off, I didn’t know how much a better monitor experience could give and I got to say this blew my expectations away. It was much bigger than I expected and now it's harder for me to use a smaller screen with this one spanning 29 inches. My current monitor is at 15 inches and yet this one feels like it's three times the size. Even having two screens side by side doesn’t compare. The full setup took less than 10 minutes before having it connected and exploring the features. So far I’ve thrown gaming, window multitasking, videos/movies, and 3D CAD design. Each one performed great and using the full real estate of the screen improved each area. For example, I found myself more immersed in my gaming/video experience than before. Also, I love simplistic/modern design with near edge to edge screen and subtle red accent color on the base. Now if only I can work solely from home on my new and vastly improved setup.
