[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I love my Q80 TV. We have three main uses in our house: movies, gaming, sports.For movies I appreciate the sound and cinema feel. The picture quality is fantastic. I really appreciate the TVs ability to adjust to light and dark scenes when watching at night. Being able to adjust the frame rate to avoid the soap opera effect is a big plus as well.For gaming I have no issues. The colors and frame rate work great. There’s no lag on the PS4 or X One.For sports there’s no bad viewing angles. I can watch directly in front or at a 20 degree angle in the kitchen without missing anything. The frame rate has no issues keeping up with faster sports like basketball and hockey either.Like I said, flawless TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had been on the market for a gaming monitor. I wanted something that wasn’t just HDR compatible, was high refresh rate, at least 30”, and 1440p. I was upgrading from a 144Hz, 1080p monitor that was 37”, way too big for 1080p. I saw the 32” G7 in a store and ordered it shortly after. This monitor is everything I was wanting. I didn’t think I’d like the curvature of the display, but I think it helps further envelope me in games. The refresh rate is more than ample for my needs. My desktop won’t be driving AAA games at 240Hz, but Nvidia G-sync helps with that. Colors are vibrant for a standard LCD panel and the 1440p resolution is just enough for gaming without stressing my system by pushing 4K. The built-in speakers are serviceable. They have RGB lighting that is controlled via the monitor itself. I would like to plug it in via USB and have an app for controlling it, but the OSD is fine. There’s also an RGB light ring on the back. It would also have been nice if it adapted to whatever the monitor was displaying. But those are two small complaints in an otherwise great monitor that will suit my needs for years.

The monitor was easy to set up, looks really nice, the refresh rate is amazing for gaming, the screen is wonderful! The curved shape doesn't cause distortion or any dizziness. In fact, as someone who appreciates larger text, I find that the slightly bigger letters are easier on the eyes, a welcome feature as I get older. I've been using a 4k screen for a couple of years, but it was a Samsung TV as I wanted a larger screen and nothing in the monitor space yet existed. It was a good experience, I didn't have any issues - regardless of what people say about using TVs as monitors. However, once I noticed that OLED monitors were coming around, I considered going back. I wasn't crazy about dealing with burn-in and the odd ways manufactures try to prevent it. Instead, I wanted to see what Samsung was up to in the gaming monitor space. I came across this and was immediately drawn in because of the high fresh rate and it being 4k. I didn't consider the G8 because I didn't think the even higher refresh rate warranted the extra cost. Once I got the G7 connected, it was like playing games for the first time. Cyberpunk looked incredibly better than my 4k TV, colors popped and I could see details that I couldn't previously. The curvature is a bit odd at first, especially in Windows, but for gaming, I really like it. The high refresh rate was a new experience as well - I hadn't had anything higher than 60Hz, so again it was a new experience. This makes a big different not only in gaming, but using Windows - everything is so smooth. The height adjustment was another helpful feature as I needed it to be in a specific place. Without it, I would have had to use a box or something else unsightly. I'm not an RGB person, but found that I liked messing with the colors and do leave a solid color on most of the time. My only complaint, is the buttons to control the settings. I have some business monitors for work that are also Samsung and they use the same buttons. It's not my favorite and it feels a bit cheap. For an $1100 monitor, I'd expect a bit more, but it's not something I use often. I feel the monitor is on the expensive side, but it is worth it if you have the machine to push high end graphics to it.

Great 23 inch gaming monitor with a 165 hz refresh rate and nvdia G-sync in all in a $200 package. You can't ask for anything more than that. Yes you can it also comes with a 3 year warranty!

Used for business. Great monitor. Good color, professional look. Not for gaming as refresh rate is only 60hz. But for productivity and business, it's a great deal.

from a gaming standpoint, this monitor has lived up to its name thunderbolt. the refresh rate and clarity software make it a truly awesome vision when paired with my nvidia graphics card.
