It's a modem. You plug it into the wall and then into a router and you get internet.

I've decided to get this power tower to protect my electronics from getting damaged. Whenever we have power outages, internet goes out which makes me stop my work. With the tower, I can connect my modem to it and have uninterrupted internet service. When I am working and power goes out , everything goes out. With this power tower I can plug everything in and it can keep running for some time. Phones and tablets can get charged fully quickly as well as other battery operated electronics. The power tower comes with 10 outlets, automatic voltage regulator, USB Type A + C ports. The tower has clear LCD screen. Wonderful battery backup.

Is the best router with wifi 6. Internet is fast and the coverage is awesome!

I enjoy using this product because the internet rarely goes out with Modem/Router.

Really minimal criteria as wanted something that would power router and modem in power outages and protect during fluctuations. Was on sale and works great so far. Value was the key word here - what it delivers at the price point was key.

I live in Florida where we often have thunderstorms with short power-outages (few seconds). Each time my WiFi and router etc would restart... I've bought two BN450M and have connected critical internet equipment to one (router, WiFi, IP-telephone, file servers, total of about 80 Watts), and use the other one for remaining home-automation. I've kept laptops and printer and other power-hungry devices off. I've had the devices for about two weeks and have already experienced several short power-outages, and (HURRAY!) all my connected equipment sailed safely through without any interruption. (The very first power-outage after installation lasted 90 minutes, and that was too much for the capacity of this power-backup, but my intention was just to handle power-outages of less than few minutes, so I'm totally OK with that event!)

I've always purchased AppleCare for my MacBook Pro. Through the years, I've had Apple replace my monitor, motherboard, and various other problems without the slightest inconvenience. If it weren't for AppleCare, I would have paid thousands in repair fees. For a traveler, this is invaluable protection.
